All the hunters were being called to a meeting, they had all survived but most of them had bruises here and there.. Val could still feel the bruise on her back but she acted as if she had not gotten hurt. Liam was already healed and showed no signs of the previous day's fights.
"im glad to say that we are all accounted for and that all missions assigned were successfully completed. i know everyone is tired but we still have allot of hard work to do before we can rest. Theo has been tracking the rest of the vampires from the coven, so far it looks like he has more small missions so we will keep the teams as they are. Thank you everyone, Theo will get your missions to you in just a few minutes" Antus finished his speech and went to his office with Doctor Mulligan
"everyone else seems to taken a beating bad enough for the blood to not heal them completely so you two will have to take some extra missions" Theo said to Val and Liam
"Its ok, we can handle it, right Liam?"
"Yeah its no problem"
"give me about 15 minutes and i'll have your missions ready"
Theo walked off to his office and Liam walked straight to Val. there was anger and fear in his eyes. he placed his right hand in Val's lower back and walked her to the nearest empty office
"why didnt you tell your brother that are seriously hurt?!"
"because im fine"
he touched her upper back and it made her move in pain
"ouch!, why did you that?"
"because you are not fine!"
"Liam im just going to take some more blood here in a minutes, ill be fine by the time ew leave"
"everybody else is also hurt you should tell your brother"
"i've been around longer than most of them, Liam please"
hes hand went to her face, holding her so that their eyes were meeting
"val i just dont want anything to happen to you"
"Liam you are going with me and we will be more careful this time"
"Please" she pleaded as she place her hands around his neck and he kissed her, she didnt hesitate, his tongue brushed against her lips parting them, and their tongues touched in a soft dance.
er whole body was tingling with excitement. Liam's skin was warming up with energy, and their bodies were touching now and their kiss became passionate, after a few seconds the separated their eyes meeting again
"im sorry i didnt mean to be so abrupt"
"well i wasnt exactly shy about it either, but we should go see Theo now" Val turned a little embarrassed, and he grabbed her again
"i said i was sorry about being abrupt not about kissing you. ive been waiting for a kiss like that for centuries"
"me too" she was blushing now
"please dont be embarrassed"
"i just... i just never felt like this before"
"me either"
they hugged for a few second before walking to Theo's office
"we are ready"
"little sis!"
"hey before we leave i need to re stock my trunk"
"let me guess you blew up another building"
"you know me"
he chuckled " i m surprised Liam, i didnt peck you for a crazy like my sis here"
"what can i say, she corrupted me"
"hey! just a little"
"well here are three more missions and do try not to blow up half the city"
all three missions were in the city which meant that they could make it to all of the location during day light. they collected more weapons, explosives and blood vials. as soon as they left Theo's office Val took one of the vials and stashed another one in her pocket
"is my just in case stash"
"good thinking" he stashed two vials in his pockets
"we got about six hours before day light, i think we should get some sleep"
"yeah, you dont have to stay here, you can stay at my house, its close and it will be faster to leave in the morning that way"
he smiled at her and they went to her apartment.
"you can have my bed"
"no ill take the couch it looks comfy enough"
"ok, want to watch a movie? you want something to drink?"
he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him, no i just want a kiss, she smiled at him and his hand wrapped on her hair behind her head, their kiss was passionate their bodies were pressed against each other. as they stopped kissing they walked to her couch.
"movie?"he said
"ok, which one? "
"since about 90% are action and the rest are thrillers i say action"
"haha funny, but you have to pick"
"hmm Tekken"
"good choice"
she put the movie in and got them some water. he was laying down o the couch holding his arms out for her to lay down with him. they made it through half the movie before they fell asleep on each other's arms.
