memories

You do pretend to remain forver.
But we end up beign only memories.
Just like summer leaves everything falls apart.
Just like rain drops we will always come crashing down.
Leaving little details as we fall.
And like the sky some days bright.
At times we try to remember.
We try to grab the remainder of the important part which feels so abstract.
Long forgotten behind, the reasons for the quarrel
Our smile and laughter
The way our skin touches and imprints on our bodies
We try to wash away the imprints but oh the cold longings to be by your side
