Do not build sancastles

When I was 16 my mother said to me
Do not pour your soul into sandcastles
Do not waste your time shoveling and reshoveling hoping to create something permanent
Beautiful ,yet perfect is impossible
Do not waste time trying to craft out pulchritude out of sandcastles
Never let the incomplete sense of perfection fool you
Never waste your time mixing and remixing sand
There is no ruling forever in sandcastles
The time lived as a queen is short-lived
Sandcastles get easily swept away by the tide and are left with no trace
If you pour your heart into sandcastles you would be left with loss and wasted efforts.
