Anxiety

Anxiety my dear old friend welcoming me with open arms
Doubts clouding my mind and blocking my vision
I could see my goal but can't reach It
so many obstacles blocking my way
The thick fog of not being clocking me
Anxiety my number one companion and only true friend
Always ready to receive me warmly
A tea party just for me the guest of honor
Hot steaming tea of doubts and few cubes of worry
A mixture of uneasiness
A sweet tea for the honorable guest
A foreboding thought hit me as I take a sip of the tea
What ifs are my only consolation
Unease the only feeling I have
Anxiety my sweet ever present lover
