“I suppose you’ve come to stop me and rescue Sid?”

“How did you guess?”

“It’s not that difficult,” said Grunkel as he also stunned Sidney. “Now, if the IWT doesn’t work, I’ve got a spare two.”

“That’s good,” said Fayebaloo, “you can take me too.”

“And me,” said Sprocket just because the Author liked the name and hadn’t used the character since ‘The Time War’.

“Oh blob,” groaned the MP, “Sidney’s been captured now.”

“Send us then,” said Gwinda.”

The MP thought for a microsecond, “Alright, but let me pre-warn you, go with your stun pistols drawn and as soon as you see Grunkel stun him.”

“What does he look like?” asked Gwinda 1.

“Grunkel, the Grunkel we just left in the café?” admonished Gwinda 2.

“Silly me,” replied Gwinda 1 as they both twiddled the dials on their IWTs and vanished.

Stun.

Thud.

As soon as Gwinda 2 had materialised in the gnome enclosure, also to save time (or non-time if that means anything) she had stunned Grunkel.

Then Fayebaloo had stunned Gwinda 2. Then Gwinda 1 stunned Fayebaloo and held her pistol facing toward Sprocket, “Make my non-day.”
