too late

"I love her but it's too late."

                            one day,
                            you'll see her
                            with a
                            sincere smile
                            on her face
                            and she will be
                            holding the
                             hand of
                            someone who
                            isn't you.

-- probably someone
better than you;
someone who saw
her worth
when you ignored
her when all
she did
was to notice
your existence.

                            And in that moment
                            you'll feel worthless,
                            just by seeing
                            her give all of the
                            love you could have had,
                            to another person.
