Pretty pictures appear
on a static screen,
where fake smiles and
hidden feelings can be seen.

Wondering where you
should belong,
so you tell yourself,
"where did I go wrong?"

They look at you with
killing eyes,
Afraid to look back
because you know you're
gonna cry.

you go home and everything's
still the same,
you get accused, you get
abused, you get punished,
and you're all to blame.

"you're no good," you heard them
say,
you get beaten up all because
you are gay.
But afterall, you did nothing--
That's all you can do.
And all you can mutter is,
"stop, I am human too."
