The Best Days are the Busiest

The evening with Sean and Mr. Blackbourne went quickly since I was so tired.  We had a late night snack and went to bed with me in the middle of my two oldest guys.  It was so comfortable that I fell asleep almost immediately.  For the first time in a while I sleep the entire night through, at least I think I did.  Sean uses room darkening blinds to keep out the sun light so he can sleep during the day if needed.  Although, I think that Sean can sleep just about anywhere.

Opening my eyes, I survey the dim room.  Sean is still asleep curled up on his side holding me.  Mr. Blackbourne's sharp grey eyes look into mine as he gives me his famous millimeter smile.  I smile back and wiggle out of Sean's grasp to head to the ensuite bathroom.  I look back at the bed and catch Mr. Blackbourne staring at my retreating form with a smirk on his face.  I return the expression and wink that I caught him oggling me.

After finishing my business, I return to the bedroom to find it empty, so I follow the voices to the kitchen where breakfast is underway and Gabriel is already seated at the counter on a tall stool.  He turns to me and frowns, "You washed your hair! Why? I wanted to do that! Why do you think I got up at this ungodly hour?"

Taken back a little at his outburst, I bit my bottom lip trying to come up with an answer. I take a deep, calming breath and return the tirad. "I got a bath just like I always do.  I had no idea you were coming over since you didn't say anything when I saw you at 9:30 last night.  If I had known, I would have waited to wash my hair since I love the way you do it.  So, Gabriel Joseph Coleman, don't you yell at me."  My voice cracked a little at the end since I usually don't talk loudly or for that long.

"She's so cute when she is worked up," Gabriel is just digging himself a deeper hole and then he turns it around, "I'm sorry. It was a last minute decision since you have a lot going on today, I thought I would come over to help you get ready.  You also need a bag packed with 2 different outfits, which I have right here.  Do you want to eat first or get dressed?"

These boys are going to be the death of me.  Seeing that the omlets that Mr. Blackbourne has made are cooked and the toast that Sean just slightly burned is also done, I decide to eat.

Conversation was fluid.  We talked about the happenings of the day for each of us.  It seems like my day is the fullest for a change.  Kota comes in half way through breakfast and I share the rest of my omlete with him.  It was way too big for me to eat. When Kota arrives, converstion turns to the Ashley Waters mission and some progress that has been made recently. Breakfast is rather leisurely and Kota helps Sean clean up as Gabriel takes me up to Sean's room to get ready.

He brought comfy, yet stylish clothes to wear to my day at the hospital for training including a light weight jacket in case I get cold.  In the bag, I find a dressier outfit with a pair of small heels and colorful shirt with flared sleeves for my time with Luke.  Then I find a pair of flats, jeans and a cute t-shirt that says, "Better Together" with a marshmallow on it.  I have no idea what it means, but the marshmallow is smiling at least.

Gabriel braids my hair leaving just a few strands framing my face.  Apparently learning CPR means leaning over and having hair in your face is "annoying as s**t".  He is finally starting to understand.

Kota meets us at the bottom of the stairs to head out. I kiss each of my guys on the cheek.  I am more comfortable with displays of affection, but I don't want to rub it in anyone's face.  Kisses on the cheeks are fine until we are alone.

The drive to the hospital is uneventful.  Kota and I talk the whole way about Star Wars since I have finally seen all of the movies.  He helps me understand some of the plot, but can't explain why they started with Episode IV and then went back years later for the first three movies.  On top of that there is a movie inbetween Episodes III and IV.  I think I need to draw out a timeline to get all of this straight.
