(A/N- I know how I describe the white ranger is a bit off from the original. But I wanted to alter it a bit, for the sake of the story.)

I woke up to see blank walls with the sound of rangers training in a different room. I look to the chair next to the bed and see a pair of my black pants and an oversized red hoodie. I feel an object under my palm. Without needing to look, I know it's my coin. Slowly, I sit up to stretch and a pain shoots through my gut. I pull up the gown and see the stitched wound. Surprisingly, it's healed more than I thought it would. I take a deep breath and decide to change. Once I leave the room, I'm completely lost. I think I'm in a spaceship. Wandering through halls, the direction of the rangers, unknown to me. I end up coming to an open room with 5 pedestals. Suddenly, the wall came to life and a face came into view. What the hell? And I'm too stunned in both awe and surprise to move.

"You must be Y/N."

I nod, "Yes, that's me. How do you know that."

"Your friends, the other rangers, told me about you. There is much you need to know."

"About me being a power ranger?"

"About you being a WHITE power ranger."

"Oh. What about it?"

"White rangers were always a special type of ranger. Besides the red ranger, white rangers are the only ones who can lead a team."

"Huh... now how about that," I say with a smirk.

"But, for the most part, white rangers are meant to be lone rangers and are able to morph without having a team to connect to. They are typically stronger, faster, and more agile than the rest, but not by much. Enough to give them more edge on their solo endeavors."

"Oh. Well, that's always nice to know."

"I didn't think that the last white ranger made it to this planet. But, with you as the white ranger, says otherwise. This means you hold a bigger responsibility than you know."

"You said white rangers could lead a team too, but Jason is already the leader of this team. Is there any 'Power Ranger rule book' that says we can't be in the same team together?"

"No, there are no rules that forbid it from happening. Though it rarely does. White rangers were always good alone because they preferred it as so. Having a white and red in the same team causes there to be tension over who's in charge. "

"Just one more question. Who are you?"

"I am Zordon. The red ranger before Jason."

"Oh. So, I guess you kinda say what goes around here,  right?"

"I offer my advice, but this is not my team to be in charge of. Only advice and guidance."

"I don't want to come off as rude, but could I go home? I don't know how long I've been here for, and I'm sure mother is freaking out, wondering where I am."

"Of course. But I recommend returning, you have much more to learn, Y/n."

I nod and head out of the room and walk into a VERY open room. How the heck do I get out? I watch as a set of stairs opens up. That was unexpected. I hear footsteps and voices coming up the stairs. Kim and Zack. They both make it up the stairs and don't see me, due to them being lost in the conversation at hand. I chuckle at them a bit before interrupting, "Next time I pass out on the brink of death, would it kill you to pack me something white?"

They both look up at me.

"Y/N," They both yell in excitement before hugging me.

"Ow, guys, too tight."

They let go apologizing followed by questions of when I woke up. I explained to them that I only JUST woke up and how I had met Zordon. Not really going into detail about what I had learned though. Mid conversation I pause to ask, "So, where is everyone?"

"Well, we're here and Tommy and Jason are training," Zack says.

Kim adds to that, "Jason has been training extra hard since what had happened. He blames himself for not being a better ranger. He keeps punishing himself for it."

I shake my head, "It's not his fault. I should talk to him when I come back."

"Yeah, talk some sense into him, please," Zack jokes.

That's when I realize there's one ranger they haven't mentions, "Wait. Where's Trini?"

They both give a sad look and go quiet.

"What's wrong with Trini?!"

Kim takes a deep breath, "She hasn't spoken more than 5 words to us since you almost... you know. None of us have really seen her at school either. Actually, the only time we see her, is when she's visiting you, or taking out her anger on putties."

I shake my head, "Thank you, Kim. And it was nice seeing you both. But I have to go find a yellow ranger and see my mother. Please be careful and don't hurt each other during training."

With that, we exchanged goodbyes and went our separate ways. With a little bit of losing my way, I finally found the exit. When I landed on the top of the cliff, my legs didn't quite stick the landing. After a couple seconds to catch my breath, I got up and continued my walk towards town. The trek seemed like it took forever, but I finally made it. It was dark out and there I was, standing in Trini's yard. I take a deep breath before I climb up to her window. I see her laying on her bed, with her back to me. I'm actually surprised to see the window open. She never leaves it open, unless she's expecting someone to come over. She told me that one night, she was attacked by some person named Rita. So, she keeps it locked. I climb in quietly and see she has headphones in, so I tap her shoulder. Which apparently, was a mistake. The moment I touched her, she grabs my wrist and throws me against the wall. I slam into the wall, then land on the floor on my stomach. Ow, fuck, pain. Damn it. I start to get up, But I'm slammed down with my arm wrapped behind my back and a knee on me, keeping me still. I start coughing and struggling to breathe. I should REALLY stop sneaking up on her.

"Who are you," she asks demanding the answer.

I couldn't answer, so she grips my wrist tighter, "Answer me!"

I couldn't breathe with her on me, so I use the little strength I have and yank my arm free then turn over. Not a good idea. I knock Trini off her feet and she lands on me, which only causes a lot of pain. I start coughing and gasping a bit for air. She sits up, Straddling my waist and raises her fist to hit me. I instantly throw my arms in front of my face, "Trini, wait!"

I feel her go stiff and I slowly move my arms away from my face. She has tears that look like they're going to escape any second, "Y/n," she reaches and places a hand on my cheek, "You're here."
