Walking The Halls

Neo looks over at Xia who nods at him "take care of him Neo!.... the Keymaker's a good man.... a little shy and without training.... but a good man none the less!"  she says Neo smiles and chuckles as he runs off after The Merovingian the next time these two see each other is just before Neo walks with The KeyMaker and Morpheus down the portal hallway she was waiting on the otherside of their door and teases once they open it "well it's about time you got here.... I've only been waiting for.... 2 seconds!"  she teases Neo smiles then asks "what are you doing here!?!"  she hugs the KeyMaker then says "I came to make sure my friend here survived in the company of Morpheus and Trinity!.... he looks and feels like he's in one piece.... though as usual his minds all a jumble!"  the KeyMaker shakes his head smiling "mind if I join you?!.... I was getting a little bored at home and there's always some sort of excitement when you two are involved!"  she teases Morpheus chuckles and Neo waves his hand in the direction that they were headed and the four of them start walking as the KeyMaker scurries a few steps ahead Xia walks inbetween the other two men she looks up and around curiously "what is it!?!"  Neo asks looking in her direction "somethings wrong!.... we need a distraction!"  she replies as they turn the corner just then they hear a familiar deep monotoned voice say "I'm sorry but this is a dead end"  Xia stops walking along with her other three companions then says "Smith!?!.... this is NOT what I meant!!.... but it will have to do!"  Neo chuckles Smith's eyes widen in surprise when he sees Xia but he stays on task....

Smith continues his little speech "you look surprised to see me again Mr. Anderson"  Smith looks over at Xia then back to Neo and continues "well that's the difference between us I've been expecting you"  after glancing over at Xia Neo asks "what do you want Smith?"  Smith replies "oh you haven't figured that out? still using all the muscles except the one that matters"  Xia mutters sarcastically "which one is that I wonder....!?"  a flash of sadness appears in Smith's eyes but it is gone just as soon as it appeared as he continues "I want exactly what you want I want everything"  once again Smith's eyes fall upon Xia they roam her body up and down as Morpheus asks pointing a gun at Smith's forehead "would that include a bullet from this gun?"  Smith looks over at Morpheus "good ahead shoot the best thing about me is that there's so many me's"  as he talks Xia gently grabs the KeyMaker's shoulder and says to Neo "I'll stay with him.... if you two can take care of them!"  she whispers in a way that only Neo can hear Neo nods he notices a sadness in her voice and watches as she gently pulls the KeyMaker away from the fight she knew was about to happen.... as Neo and Morpheus fight the Smith's that come though the many doors near them as well as the one who started the conversation the KeyMaker opens a random door with one of his many keys as Xia protects him from a possible Smith invasion then follows him in the KeyMaker and Xia pop out of another random door behind the fighting men the Smith's turn as they hear the door open Xia hears two Smith's say at the same time "kill them"  Neo grabs Morpheus and does "the Superman thing" down the hallway and through the door Xia moves the KeyMaker out of sight as bullets go flying and hit her while she shuts the door "XIA!!"  Smith shouts as he watches each bullet graze and hit different parts of her Neo rushes over to her and catches her as she falls "go.... I'll be fine!"  Xia says looking up at Neo "Morpheus that door will take you home...."  the KeyMaker says he takes the key that he had on a chain around his neck off his neck and hands it to Neo then says "you will know which door hurry Neo.... I will take care of our friend!"  the KeyMaker kneels down next to Xia and says "you should not have done that my friend...."  she chuckles then replies with a smile "I never do what I'm suppose to do.... it's against my nature!"  he smiles at her and she looks over at Neo taking his hand in hers "go.... Neo.... or you'll never make it on time to where you need to be!.... he's good at stalling.... and a complete ass.... if you think Smith is bad.... he's much worse!"  she tells him Neo looks down at her and she squeeze's his hand "just nod and go Neo.... nod and go.... besides.... they will only sting for a little bit"  she says he tilt's his head in confusion at her "what!?! do you think I'm stupid enough not to protect myself in this world!?!....look at me Neo!.... there's no blood.... all my clothes have built in bp vests!"  he smiles down at her and looks relieved as Morpheus looks at him confused "bullet proof.... which is wise all things considering!"  she tells him Neo stands up as she let's go of his hands as a bright white light shines around Neo when he reaches his door Xia stands up with a little assistance from the KeyMaker "I'd like to go home and rest.... though the cold floor did help a bit a bath sounds really good right about now!"  she says the KeyMaker smiles at her and reopens the door they came through using a different key the door opens directly at her home then he closes it again and goes home himself
