I felt so much pain in my heart after seeing her the way she was with those guys but she got one guy really good, he was dead on the ground where she lay when I found her and Lacey.
She stepped out of the room dressed and ready to go wearing a printed mini skirt with a plain black fitted tshirt. She looked beautiful and I didn't even mind what she was wearing because she is going to be around my family
"You look gorgeous babe" I smile kissing her cheek
"Thank you"
The short drive to my parents house didn't take long but there were a few cars already there. I could see both set of grandparents walking through the door and my nieces and nephews running around the house
"Tamina's here?" Violet asks surprised
"I wanted it to be a surprise, Lucas is here as well and he isn't happy about what happened last night"
I felt Violet cringe beside me and sigh deeply "Of course he would be here"
Getting her out of the car was a mission but we eventually made it to the back of the house to two especially loud children yelling her name. She knelt down and cried in front of my family.
My mother went all mushy and so did all the women that were here.
"Aunty why are you crying? You shouldn't cry we here now" Tayla is such a cutie
"Hey Blaine" I turn to see Isaiah beside me holding Julian
"Uncle Blaine!" Julian yells surprised at seeing me again
"Hey" I nod my head to Isaiah and Julian "How's things been going?" I ask. I couldn't help the resentment I still feel towards him even if he is holding my nephew, I csn still see the candle he holds for my mate in his eyes
"Lucas and Matt threw a fit when they heard about last night, so they drove out as soon as they heard, Natalia is here somewhere also, she couldn't pass up an opportunity to get out of pack territory for a while"
"Yeah I figured when they called me when they arrived" I offer a soft smile just as I hear my name being called out "Grandma Izzy"
I feel like I haven't seen her in a while and being the middle child I am her favourite, all her grandchildren are her favourite but I'm the apple of her eye.
Hugging always made me calm down "Your mate, she's beautiful" she says kissing my cheek. I smile and shrug my shoulders
"What can I say? She's amazing" I say to her while we watch her interact with her family.
Natalia had pulled her into her arms and it looked like she was squeezing the life out of her until Lucas pulled her away shaking his head
"Hey beautiful, are you hungry? Food is ready" smiling over at me I take her hand bringing her around to everyone.
As we eat I introduce her to everyone like my cousin Natalie. Which is funny that Natalia her sister in law has a similar name. I also introduce her to both set of grandparents
"That's... She's" I was finding it quite funny that my beautiful mate was struggling to put words together
"Yeah babe" I kiss her forehead
"Wow" She blushes
Lacey looked like she didn't remember a thing of last night but while Violet went and spoke with her it seemed as though she did. She looked everywhere other than her
"Everything ok?" I ask when Violet comes back to sit beside me
Kissing me on the cheek she nods "I'm going to teach her how to fight, to defend herself and after last night I think she should"
