The Wedding Attire

by sloanranger

My sweet and Bonny Boy

I'm so verra verra happy,

now that you have gone

an' spoke wi' Mam n' Pappy.

I've seen 'oor treehoose way up high

and I love 'oor grand big tree;

it seems to almost touch the sky,

an' I can't wait to bed wi' ye.

I want to tell ye all aboot

the wedding clothes I've made.

I think ye'll find there's none afoot,

makes such a handsome blade.

I've made a skirt and one for you

slit right up the side.

They're verra verra breezy, too

and not too much do hide.

But though ye're skirt is verra high,

it's fetching and it fits;

no need for ye to be so shy,

hides all ye're bonny bits.

'Oor wedding clothes, that I've sewed,

they're made from monkey hide,

and bye-the-way, Horatio...

got lost, och ...  he went outside.

(To be continued).
