Bonny Boy Fights Back                     by sloanranger / VLSloan

Now listen lass, I’ll take no more,

ye’ll come with me or know what for.

I’ve let ye talk and let ye play,

ye’ll tell me now 'oor wedding day.

Ye’re Mam can come and stay a while,

and I’ll be kind and wear a smile.

Ye’ll do the same for my wee pet,

my friend the chimp’ll win ye yet.

‘Tis me that lays the law right doon,

ye’ll nae be off to Royal Troon.

Ye’ll marry me and that right soon,

and I’ll kiss ye lass, until ye swoon.

Remember girl, ye’are my world,

an’ I won’t let ye’re feelings hurt;

but in our verra own tree hoose,

‘tis only me that wears the skirt!
