Rain

It's always cold when it rains

It dampens and freezes our hearts

With cold hearts, we as people

Are hateful, even just for a day

It poured that day of distress

She said "I don't love you, I confess"

Dreams of forever and a day

Washed away with the rain

Now as I lay in my bed

Memories run through my head

I shivered and tried to forget

But the rain was cruel instead

Another one bites the dust

One rainy April Saturday

I screamed and I thrashed in pain

Please! I swear it's just the rain!

Words I can never take back

Start when the sky turns black

Thunder crashed overhead

I'm scared, but no one cares

But we can still be friends

So I can watch you love someone else

The sun shining on your smiling face

But for me, it's only rain

For no one will love me

I am nothing but a wild storm

Tears stream down my cheeks

But no one bothers to wipe them away

After all, it's only rain
