Quiet.
Rooms full of white
Of scissors and chains
It's peaceful
And I'm alone
Hush.
My body rock back and forth
Mommy ain't here
Daddy is never near
To satisfy my hurt
Cold.
False warm my hands offer
My warm embrace
Mine, and mine only
To take and give, mine
Shunned.
In a peaceful place
I am worrth no word
From you lips
I understand
Empty.
A mass of broken dreams
Only fears and failing hopes
Fill this room
A set of tangled ropes
Nothing more, nothing more.
Hollow.
Inside and out
Though Sarah ain't here
And Danny is never near
Fill me
Devoid.
Of any emotions
I still cry
Tears seem to like
The colour of my eye
Alone.
I am
In a peaceful place.
I feel safe
But I'm alone.
