I'm walking home from Eva's confused as fuck about Russ's sudden departure...
What the fuck has just happened?? He didn't say nothing to me about doing something for his mum...
I decide to text him...
Me: Hey baby! Hope everything's okay with your mum,call me when you can x
I get to my house and nobody's in,going straight to my room I get my phone out again to see if Russ's has replied nothing!
My message is come up as read,but still nothing!
I try calling him and his voicemail comes on
"Wassup fucker's,my arse is busy...you know what to do...BEEP!"
"Hey baby,just thought I'd...." I say down the phone until I get cut off
"Ahahahah you thought that was the beep didn't ya! Aaaaah! **he chuckles** am just fucking with ya here's the beep,later" BEEP!
I wait for a second Incase it's another one of his pranks "hey baby,just wanted to check in see if everything's okay with your mum. Call me when you can okay? I miss you,talk soon. I love you" I end the call and sigh falling down on my bed and lie down thinking about Russ and why he wanted to leave so suddenly
I fall asleep worrying about Russ and his behavior towards me...
"Amber" someone shakes me "baby,wake up" my eyes flutter open and mum's watching over me
"Hey mum,what time is it?" I ask on a yawn and she sits down on the bed next to me
"8.15am,I didn't even know you were home?! I came to put some of your clothes away that I washed" she gestured to the the pile on my chest of drawers
My god! I must of really needed that sleep!
"Yeah,I came home last night" I shrug
Her eyebrows raise "You didn't stay at Russ's?" She asks
"We're joined at the hip you know mum!" I say as I get up
"I know that baby,I was just asking... you going into work today?" She asks
"I don't feel very well,so am gunna ring in and let them know" I say
She puts her hand to my forehead "you don't feel hot,you look a bit pale though...me and your dad are meant to be going out with ava & Paddy soon but we can cancel..." she says
"No am fine mum,go out and have some fun.." I say smiling sadly
She's looking at me in concern..
"Baby are you sure your okay? Do you need anything? I could cook something before we leave" she asks
I need Russ!
"Yes Mum! am fine okay?...am not hungry" I tell her getting agitated
Mum puts her hands up in surrender "Okay Okay,I'll leave you alone" she tells me and get's up to leave
Her saddened face makes me feel guilty "Mum look...am sorry I snapped...am just really not well,it's a....it's headache,yeah a really bad headache..an it's doing me head in,go out...have fun,give my love to ava & Paddy yeah?" I tell her with a smile
"Okay baby,I'll check in on you from time to time" she tells me as she goes to my bedroom door
"Okay" I smile and she leaves then
My smile drops and I reach for my phone nothing still!
What the hell is going on!?!
Couple of hours later,mum and dad had left to meet up with Ava & Paddy...I've been sat in my room watching my fifty shades darker DVD Russ got me for Christmas and glancing at my phone every now and again,I sent a text again and left him a voicemail again!
I'm at the point we're Christian proposes to Ana and my phone rings my heart leaps into my mouth of thinking it's Russ,but it's not...it's Justin.
I answer the call hopeful hiding the sadness in my voice
Sup Rome....How's my girl?" I ask
"Sleeping" he tells me "I was wondering if you'd be able to help me with something?"
"What dya need stud muffin" i tease
"Don't let Russ hear you call me that" he says with a smile in his voice
Tears well in my eyes at Russ's name
"Amber? You there?" Justin asks
"Yeah" I sniff "I haven't seen or heard from Russ since yesterday when he ran off from Eva's" I croak "have you heard from him Justin? He hasn't replied to my calls or texts either... am worried" I tell him
He's quiet on the other end
"I haven't love...I actually thought he'd be too busy spending time with you" He says "we've got training tomorrow so I'll see what's going on okay?" He tells me
Yeah nope! Not with me!
"Sure" I croak "what was it you needed my help with?"
I can practically hear his smile in his voice as he asks me
"What's Eva's dream wedding?" He says "What does she want? A church wedding? Where would she want the reception?"
"Why don't you just ask her?" I tell him confused
"I don't wanna ask her amber,I wanna do this for her. I want it to be a surprise....if she is pregnant I don't want her stressing if I can help it,can you help me" he asks me
He really is perfect for Eva!!
For the next twenty minutes I'm telling him about Eva's dream wedding and he's giddy with fucking excitement "I've also booked an appointment with a housing agency to view some houses to buy aswell" he tells me
"That's great Rome,I'm really happy for you both" I tell him honestly
"Thanks amber,and thanks a lot for your help! Means a lot" he says "I better go wake our girl up eh? Tell her the good news!!" He says happily
"You do that Rome,give her my love yeah?" I tell him
"Will do" he says excitedly and hangs up
I smile happily for Justin...Eva will love the news when he tell's her
I look to see if Russ has replied and again nothing!! My smile drops
My eyes start to well up again from not hearing from Russ...I don't know why am getting so upset?!? It's only been a day! Must be getting my period or something!
I go downstairs feeling peckish,looking through the refrigerator I come across a bar of galaxy caramel... mum'll kill me! Fuck it,I'll get here another one later...
I moan out loud at the taste of the chocolate and caramel on my tongue and I wait to hear Russ's dirty reply and I realise he's not here!
I miss him!
