I get home and sling my keys on the table as I enter my apartment...I look round at my apartment and it feels empty like I'm missing something or someone

I get my phone out and text amber. Me: I've just got home, and my apartment feels empty for some reason! I think it's missing something...  X

I sit and wait for her to reply and I see the bubble confirmation of her replying

Amber: "What? Have you been robbed? X"
So fucking cute
Me: "No, that's not it...x"

Amber: "Then what's missing?x"

I grin as I reply; Me: "You! X"

I'll ask her to come tonight, I need her here with me

Me: "You fancy have date number two tonight instead? X"

Still no reply—Shit! I've scared her off

Me: "We can still do something tomorrow too x"

The bubble notification comes up from amber Thank fuck!

Amber: "Sure! Text me your address,I'll book a cab x"

My heart leaps "Yes" I throw my fist in the air

Me: "I can come and get you x"

Amber: "No that's okay,no point coming back on yourself...you've only just dropped me off here after all 😉 x"

Teasing me because I wanna see her again! Fuck! I'd keep her here with me forever...what the fuck am I saying?

I shake my head and text her back

Me: "Fine! But am paying for the cab x"

I text her my address and while I wait i click on Netflix and search for Friday...
