The Silence

Shaylee's POV  

Three Days Later

Ed went home this morning as he was due back on tour. I haven't left my room, I haven't eaten I haven't slept and I haven't spoken and I haven't seen Danny since the morning after that night Glen and Mark both take turns at coming in and trying to get me to talk, eat or leave the room but I just won't move. I have no energy I have just given up they won't let me kill myself painlessly so I just won't eat and I'll starve to death, I'm beyond caring anymore 

Danny's POV

I'm feeling a lot better but I'm worried about Shaylee She won't eat, drink, come out of her room or talk and the lads won't let me see her "Fuck it, it's been three days I'm going in there whether you like it or not" I said to the lads getting up as I spoke, they didn't try to stop me this time because they knew enough was enough. I walked Into the room and She didn't even move, I climbed into the bed behind her and just hugged her I didn't even speak. She gave no sign of whether she even registered that I was there or not. After about five minutes I felt her weight get heavy in my arms she has finally given in and fallen asleep so I do the same. I woke Up later not knowing how long I was asleep for and noticed she was shivering severely, I'm such a prat I thought to myself she's been in here for three days and had no blanket I've had it out on the couch. She's still sound asleep so I go and get the blanket come back in and put it on her, then went back into the living room with the lads. "well she's finally given in and gone to sleep" I told them "Only Cause you were there we came in while you were both sleeping to check on you" Glen replied 

Another three days later (still Danny's POV) 

She still hasn't eaten, spoken or left the room all she's done Is cry and sleep I feel so helpless. I noticed Glen check his phone he then got up and went into Shaylee's room came back out went into the Kitchen and returned to the room with a glass of water and an apple I heard a mumbled voice then Glen came out "she text me asking for a water and a piece of fruit she was getting hungry all she said was thanks and went quiet again" he said as he sat back down "It's still an improvement" I said I sat there for a while and just listening to the silence, next thing we hear a thud from the bedroom we all go running for the door at the same time to see her on the floor tangled in blankets laughing her head off like a maniac "I tried to get up to pee and fell out of bed" she said when she finally stopped laughing and we all started laughing "wanna get some popcorn and we can all jump into bed and watch a movie" She asked "sure we all replied "I'll get the popcorn" said Glen. She passed me the remote "your choice" she said, I scrolled through the movie guide and choose a horror just as Glen came back with the popcorn. Not even five minutes Into the Movie and Shaylee's asleep again. I was just starting to fall asleep when I hear a thud my eyes jerk open and She's on the floor again and she's giving me a filthy look, "Oi, You Shite, You pushed me off the bed" She said while Marks roaring with laughter "oops my bad, sorry" I said. she left the room and came back a minute later with another apple. she ate it then went back to sleep. It's good she's catching up on sleep so I just leave her and carry on with the movie
