Chapter 6: Liar!

Chapter 6

"I'm pregnant"

Those words rang in my head. I was so shocked I leaned back into my chair

I shook my head "No you're not" I refused to look at her. All the guilt seemed to flood my heart. I gave Nico false hope. I made him believe that we would be together. And then this happens.

I looked at Annabeth. Tears were falling from her eyes. She remained silent.

"Tell me you're lying" I said calmly

"It's true" She muttered

I stood up and walked to the door. I placed my head on it. I was so confused, so nervous. She's destroying my perfect future with Nico. I yelled loudly and punched the door, creating a whole on the door, making Annabeth wince.

I tried to control my anger. I was starting to get mad.

I looked at Annabeth, glaring at her, which made her wince again.

"How would I know that" I said pointing at her stomach "that's really mine?!" I yelled "Maybe you screwed someone else?!" I accused her

"Percy I-" But I cut her off

"We only did it once Annabeth! Once! And we even used protection" I shrieked "And you're saying that you're pregnant?!" I inhaled roughly "Gods, you're ruining this for me!"

"Percy, stop" She pleaded

"No you!," I screamed jabbing a finger at her "Stop! Stop lying to me! I know you're doing this to ruin my relationship with Nico"

I came into a conclusion that I don't love her. Not anymore

"I love Nico! Don't RUIN everything! " I yelled in frustration

She stayed silent. I almost thought she was going to faint, she was taking ragged breaths, her eyes were red and she was shaking furiously.

But she stood up, looking at me defiantly.

"Perseus Jackson! How dare you accuse me of having an affair?!" She said loudly

"Even if you like it or not, this" She said touching her stomach "Is your child! I don't care if you would not accept it or not! I WILL raise this child, with or without YOU! " She sighed angrily and stormed out of my cabin

Leaving me standing there, shocked. I sat down on the floor and hugged my knees. I dropped my head on my knees and shouted. I cried my eyes out. Everything was messed up.

I stood up, wiping tears out of my eyes, I had to find out the truth.

I changed to my regular pants and camp shirt. I wore black converse and walked out of my cabin

Everyone was doing their regular activities.

I walked to the Athena cabin. I knocked politely and Malcolm, Annabeth's half-brother answered the door.

"What?!" He growled

I figured Annabeth told him about our fight

"I have to talk to Annabeth" I said softly

"And why do you think I would let you come near her?" He said, crossing his arms on his chest

I grunted and pushed pass him. He made a faint "Hey! "

But, he let me inside

I saw Annabeth sobbing on her bed. I walked towards her, not making eye contact "Come with me" I ordered

"Why!?" She grumbled

"Not important" I grabbed her wrist slowly and made her stand up. She didn't refuse. When we made it pass her brother Malcolm, still near the door, he scoffed
