I gripped the sides of the tub until my knuckles turned the same shade of white as them.
I took a gulp of air and put my head under the pink and white water.
My brain showed me the moments before it happened.
The determination in his eyes.
The song playing in the background hasn't left my head in days.
He's gone.
My lungs start to burn and I open my mouth letting the water gush in.
I'm sorry Luke.
"I'm the one who should be saying sorry."
I immediately sit up, coughing up water and glitter. I wipe my eyes quickly wanting to see if he's there.
But he's not. Instead I'm met with a candle that's gone out.
I lift myself out of the tub and wrap a towel around myself, as I bend down to take the plug out of the drain, something falls into the water.
I look up to see the shower wall covered in wax.
The word sorry was carved into it.
