Arnav and Akash stood there looking at the heart warming affection of Guptas. A satisfying smile is adorning their face. Both looked at each other and shared a relaxing smile.

Khushi, who is in her buaji's embrace, looked at the brothers who stood in her house's living room. She broke the hug almost pushing buaji. She remembered something suddenly

"Ye sankadevi, trying to kill me or what? Why did you push me?" asked buaji taking help from Garima standing properly. Khushi looked at her aunt with wide eyes

"Um... err... I... I..." she gulped. But seeing her father's smile, she remembered what she wanted to do. "Ohhoo... buaji... why are you diverting my mind. I wanted to do this important work... why are you wasting my time with your words... Hai Devi Mayya... buaji stop your ranting and let me do my work" Khushi said leaving surprised, irritated, giggling and smirking people around. She ran to Akash and pulled him towards her father

"Bauji... meet your son... Akash" she introduced her brother

"Haire NandKisore... can't you use proper words sankadevi?" buaji held her head

"What? What wrong did I..." she stopped getting meaning her words implied "Oh please buaji... don't you assume things. Having son doesn't mean, he should father him biologically. Isn't bauji my father? Am I his biological daughter? No, right? Then why are you implying my words in wrong way...? Whatever, I'm not going to talk with you" Khushi turned to her father and said "Bauji... Akash bhai wants me as his sister, he asked my permission and I accepted. So, here is you son" Khushi beamed at her father with so much happiness in her twinkling eyes. Akash and Shashi smiled at her. Shashi nodded his head patting her head

"You did very good thing betiya... accepting him as your brother. I think Devi mayya heard your prayers to give brother to you. You are so lucky and I'm sure, you are DM's favourite kid. That's why she gave you TWO brothers when you asked just one"

Khushi smiled broad and nodded her head. Shashi waited till his words enter into her excited brain. He knows his daughter too well. As he presumed, Khushi's smiling face turned into confusion

"Two brothers?"

"Haa!!! Akash and... Arnav?!" said Shashi with a smile

"KYA??? Arnav...jjjjii... my brrrrrrrother!!!!" Khushi asked stammering

"Haa! What's there to get shocked betiya? If Akash became your brother, then his brother will automatically becomes your brother, doesn't he?" Shashi asked innocently

Khushi looked at her father, Akash and Arnav. She couldn't digest this point.

"A...A...Arnav j..j..ji is my brother?" she asked in low stammering voice.

"Hey Sankadevi, what's wrong with you? What's there to think about that?" chided buaji

Suddenly tears formed in Khushi's eyes. She looked at her father and Arnav with those innocent eyes, which made them feel tug in their hearts. Shashi immediately hugged his daughter, knowing what she is thinking.

"Sh... betiya... don't cry... sh... I'm just..." he stopped hearing a sound from the outside of their home.

"I will check" said Garima and about to go, but was stopped by Akash, who went outside to check.

"No one is there, but the flower pots are shattered" said in worried voice. Arnav too went out to check one more time. But seeing no one there, they again entered inside.
