The trip to Poris was one of the most grueling things I have ever done in my life. It took a solid three days and with nothing left on the third day it was inevitable we found shelter or pay the consequences by starving.

The last place we had to cross was the forbidden forest. Something the princess weren't looking forward too.

We made it to the entrance of the forbidden forest entrance. The place you had to past through. If you took a shortcut Bafa would make you pay the price nightmares that made you thinking you were burning to death.

Thousands of bodies every year would be dug up from Bafa's grave, the nickname for the forbidden forest. It is the longest forest in all seven kingdoms that makes it's mark through all. There are seven known entrances and the one we are near is the one for the seventh kingdom.

The gates creaking from the wandering random wind as it swayed the century old gates. Ritava, Valvane, Cronus and I walked most of the time. The princesses, however weren't that used to walking. The prince who multiple of times looked like he was ready to complain about his feet didn't and sucked it up.

I was pretty impressed because I for one whenever go on missions feel like cutting off my feet when I have to walk for that long.

"Now what?" Kenzie yawned swaying back and forth as if she was about to fall off the horse. She fell on Fefe's shoulder who sat in front of her. Fefe who was so openly annoyed kept shoving her head back with a sneer.

With a final jolt from Fefe, Kenzie screamed loudly as she fell hard on the ground landing on her head. She began to cry as Ritava smacked his face with his hand.

"Are you two serious?" I hissed as nightfall came. I longed changed into my normal muro form. The only way to enter through the forest for us was the night time. Even though it was never recommended to go through Bafa's grave through these times for creatures of the night come out.

We didn't exactly have any sort of choice with me being the only real muro. Ritava a muro elf himself, but Bafa was nicer to the ladies. We agreed i would go ahead of the pack no one else complaining as I took the leverage of going in front.

I've been through the forests before when I needed the money back when I was little and desperate. Only those who are crazy are escorts. Their nicknames vary, but that's not the issue.

Even if you're a muro when you pass through the forest the cries who here. The grueling cries of thousands of men dying over and over again enter you, shake you and-and....

The thought of it making me sweat. Bafa has no mercy, knows no mercy.... Whispers no mercy.

Ritava looked physically unable to really do anything. This was especially bad for an elf who needed absolute energy for his magic to fully be there. It was pretty much up to me even though I had no real magic or any I knew of.

"Nemesis," Ritava nervously breathed. "Are you ready?"

I nodded.

"I'm going to tell you guys this once and only once so listen to me very carefully."

It was almost instantly how all the princesses, who in fact looked scared out of their mind, came into my attention.

"What you can't see can't hurt you."

"What do you mean?" Valvane glared.

"I asked that question before," Cronus cleared his voice. "I never asked it again."

I flinched a smile. Cronus was simply implying to the one time him and I had a mission together and Ritava came with us. I told him this and he didn't listen.
