At Home
Step One: Stay in the spot you are in
Step Two: Take 10 deep breaths
Step Three: Close your eyes
Step Four: Repeat a mantra or a saying 5 times
Step Five: Drink some water
Step Six: Try to call someone
*Call emergency services if your panic attack is becoming life threatening.
Public Setting
Step One: Find a spot to sit down
Step Two: Take deep breaths
Step Three: Inform anyone nearby about your attack
Step Four: Ask for help
*Call emergency services if your panic attack is becoming life threatening.
