Flashback

Third person P.O.V

y/n was still 12 when she traveled to Sinnoh to see the world. You trained your charmeleon and absol in a route near heartrome city. You heard someone and pokemon shouting, and you thought the pokemon was in pain. You returned your pokemon and went closer to the sound. You hid behind a bush and saw a trainer sneasel and a gible. The gible was in great pain and many scratches and scars. 

"Sneasel use ice fang" the trainer said

The gible was to weak to move and got critically hit.

"You are so weak, you are just wasting my time" The trainer said to his gible

You stepped outside the bush and stopped the trainer from hurting his gible.

"That's not how you should take care of you pokemon" You shouted

"Aww, a little girly trying to tell me how to raise my pokemon. Get lost kid. She's weak anyway" he retorted

"I challenge you to a battle, and if I win you release gible" You stated

"Ok, but if I win you will leave me alone, kid" the trainer replied

"Ok, a one on one battle"

You released your charmeleon and the trainer used his sneasel. The gible rested beside a tree.

"Sneasel you shadow claw" the trainer called

"Charmeleon dodge and use flamethrower"

Charmeleon's flamethrower hit the sneasel, but the sneasel still stood up.

"Sneasel use shadow ball"

"Charmeleon use flamethrower again"

The two attack hit each other resulting to smoke. When the smoke was clear, the sneasel was no where to be seen

"Sneasel now use shadow claw"

The sneasel was up high and hit charmeleon. Charmeleon had a hard time getting up

"Sneasel us ice beam"

It hit charmeleon

"What a weakling" the trainer said to you

"Charmeleon us fire spin"

"Sneasel dodge"

The sneasel dodge it

"Sneasel use dark pulse"

"Charmeleon use flamethrower"

The attacks were powerful, and smoke was everywhere. The smoke cleared out and both pokemon were panting

"Charmeleon use flame wheel"

The sneasel was too slow and got hit by charmeleon. It was unable to battle.

"Pfft. fine, you can have the weak gible anyway" the trainer returned his sneasel, threw gibles pokeball and walked away.

"Good job, charmeleon" You said while you returned him back to his pokeball

You went to gible, but she seemed afraid and tired to scratch you. You picked her up, but she continued to scratch. You rand to the nearest pokemon center and had the gible healed. You were waiting in the seats. Nurse joy approached you.

"The gible had a lot of damage, but she is getting better. How did you find her?" Nurse joy asked

"The gible was being abused by her trainer and I tried to protect her" You said

"Oh poor thing. Do you want to meet it?"

"Yes, please"

You and the nurse joy went to the room. You saw gible resting on the bed. Nurse joy had to leave you for a while to tend to some people. You went closer to the gible.

"Are you feeling better?" You asked the gible

The gible replied with her sound

"Here take this" You gave the gible an oran berry.

The gible stood up and ate it. It saw the scratches on your arm and you could see the gible got sad.

"It's ok, i'm fine. You didn't mean it" You gave the gible a reassuring smile.

You stayed in the pokemon center to watch gible for the night.

*Next day*

You were about to leave the pokemon center and gible to nurse joy's care. You were packing our things and said bye to nurse joy.

"Please take care of gible" You said

"Sure. Good luck in your journey" Nurse joy waved at you

You left the pokemon center. The gible escaped from he room and ran out the pokemon center. Nurse joy tried to stop her, but she could see it misses you. The gible followed you. You looke back and the gible was there.

"Hey gible, what are you doing here?" You patted her head

The gible jummped on you and gave you a hug

"Do you want to go on a journey with me?"

The gible nodded it's head, and you caught her with a pokeball. She stayed in and you caught her. You released her from the pokeball, and walked together.
