A Thorn in My Flesh

For months
I have been battling
Yet the pain and numbness
Are not settling

I constantly pray
And fight
Yet it stays
Just as tight

Your precious Word
Comes to me
Comforted when I face the world
For You are with me

My Grace is sufficient for you
Is what You say to me
For My Power is made perfect in weakness
Is what I receive from Thee

A thorn in my flesh
I have found to discover
Was intended to bless
For it is Your desire

So I remain
In Your sovereign Will
And maintain
To be still
