I had arrived
At a juncture
Where my pride
Had a puncture

It was so silly
For I was deceived
To think that my capability
Was all I needed to succeed

But I am indeed grateful
To be made humble
By the Lord Jesus
Through His Blood and measures

For I was saved
Just before I caved
That tormenting night
When the devil came to fight

The Lord stepped in
And devil left me
Then I was brought in
To be with Jesus for eternity
