15. The Journey

Its was the day when everyone was leaving for Manali , and to spend more time with family it was decided to take a road trip to Manali.

As the Malhotra's had an RV so it was decided that all the youngsters would take the RV while the elders will take a Helicopter as they would get exhausted in the road trip.

The luggage was loaded in the RV , as the elders left first as they wanted to spend a day sitting at their Manali Mansion and enjoying the beautiful view. And as the RV already had all the facilities so the youngsters didn't need to stop until the driver wanted a break.

The RV was a double decker RV with 3 bed rooms one on the upper deck and two on the lower , two living rooms on each deck , two kitchens and two bathrooms on each deck and the roof too had a small room with sitting place in the open.

It was 11:30 pm when the youngsters left for Manali as all that they had to do was to sleep while there were two drivers who would drive turn by turn soo that even they had enough sleep. Manik & Nandini were given the master bedroom , Arnav and Khushi were given the master bedroom on the upper deck and Aadarsh , Mukti , Abhimanyu & Abhay were sharing a room as they wanted to stay awake whole night and play games , though Aaliya didn't accompany them on the road trip as she had some important work to wind up so she decided to join them directly in Manali.

MaNan were in there room fighting about which movie they should watch.

I am telling you for the last time Mr Manik Malhotra , we are going to watch Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na !
Nandini shouted as Manik gave her a cold stare.
Fine then , watch your movie alone! I am going to watch Logan in the living room!
Manik said as he started to get up from the bed but Nandini pulled him back.
Manik you just can't judge a movie without watching it !
Manik looked at Nandini dejected.
Ok fine , play whatever movie you want to watch!
Nandini did a little victory dance as she immediately played the movie and then adjusted herself in Manik's arms as they half lied in the bed with a bucket of popcorn in her lap.

Mukti asked as the Boys looked at her blankly.

Um idea!
Abhay shouted as everyone looked at him.

Let go to Manik And Nandini's room , I am sure she must be watching any movie !
I think he is right , she even brought some dvd's .

Abhimanyu confirmed as Mukti smiled.

Then what are we waiting for? Christmas?
Mukti asked as everyone laughed and made their way to MaNan's room.

Can we come in??
Mukti asked as she knocked the door.

Mukti ofcourse you all came in , the door is unlocked.
Nandini replied as she paused the movie and sat up straight when everyone entered the room.

Abhay said that you would be watching a movie and here you are watching a movie proved him right.
Mukti said as she sat next to Manik and placed her head on his shoulder while abhay , aadarsh & Abhimanyu adjusted themselves on the bed.

What to do Mukti she even forced me to watch this movie but now I feel that its a nice movie and I am liking it.
Manik said as Nandini smiled.

Don't worry sir , they are on their way to Manali and I am following them.
A man spoke to a person on the other side of the phone .

I don't care where they are or what are they doing , I just want you to do your work.
Came the voice from the other side.

Don't worry sir , the work will be done as soon as I find the right time.
The man replied as the other person immediately ended the call without replying.

Some hours passed and Arnav & Khushi came down to spend some time with everyone but they didnt find them anywhere.

Yeh sab kanha chale gye?
Khushi asked as Arnav just gave her an I don't know look.

Let's go and see if Manik and Nandini are in their room or even they are missing.
Khushi said as they made their way to MaNan's room.
They entered the room only to find Manik , Nandini & Mukti sleeping cuddling each other with Manik in between them & the boys sleeping half on the bed and half on floor.

They smiled looking at them and decided to let them sleep and spend sometime together till the time they all wake up.

Manik , is this dress ok?
Nandini asked as she checked out herself in the mirror.

Yeah its fine , why?
Manik asked her.

No , I mean is this dress ok to wear in Manali , like people won't stare at me know?
Nandini asked as Manik smiled and pulled her on the bed beside him.

Well people are going to stare at you even of you wear something else.
Manik said looking deep in her eyes.

Why is something wrong? Is there anything on my face?
Nandini asked as she turned towards the mirror to check .
Nandini , you are so cute that you grab everyone's attention to yourself and make everyone fall in love with you.
Manik explained as Nandini looked at him and then looked down blushing.
