The prince let go of my wrist and flung it to the as if I was dirty. He placed his arms on the rails of the balcony and stared at the moon which looked much more bigger than it's usual size.

I breathlessly took a step back to leave. The prince all of a sudden chuckled and dipped his head low in a drunken way.

"You're probably wondering why I'm like this?" He turned to face me with a nonchalant way.
I bowed low with my head almost touching the floor to dodge his questions. Something about this guy gave me horrible vibes. I needed to leave.

Leave now.

I took one more shuffling step backwards so I could finally turn around and leave. I lifted up my foot-

"Stop!" The prince urged. "Where do you think you're going?"

My eyes widened as he grabbed my wrist, pinching my bones with his thumb and index finger. He pushed me forward to face him daring. Something  a non royal or muro should never do to someone like him.

Nevertheless this was forced on his part. Still. They wouldn't believe a word I state if he decides to blackmail me.

The consequences coming out both bleak and dull as I held my breath. The prince staring me down and barely inches away from my face.

His eyes... Something about his eyes felt like the tip of a knife at the nape of your neck slowly dancing down to your waist as it cut you open.

I cringed my back, backwards and stood tall as i begged myself not to blink. The prince breathing out of his nostrils it smelled like fine berry wine sauteed with honey.

"I find it interesting how a black lamb like yourself could wander into my territory without a doubt in a world you would get.... Killed," he smirked showing off some sharp teeth.

I shivered in that moment which stood to be the biggest mistake. It soaked it up, the fear I accidentally exposed in that excruciating second. I leaned my back further opposite of his wayas he pulled my wrist towards him.

He sniffed as if smelling me and blinked.

"You don't smell like a servant?" He chided. "In fact you smell like... A princess?"

I couldn't feel my chest. The way it was pounding I was about to have a heart attack at this rate. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to say. Did he know? Or was he just bluffing? I did in fact pour a bottle of that perfume before. Maybe he smelled that...

The prince however continued on.

"I bet you when you clean the princesses rooms you spray some on yourself and imagine what the good life would smell like, huh?" The prince crudely taunted. "Spraying luxurious perfume isn't going to change your pathetic life," he threw my wrist once again.

I thank the skies and the clouds he didn't find out. Somewhat of anger trailing on the princes tone as he spoke to me.

"You know what?" The prince all of a sudden changed his expression into something more unreadable. "You can be of some use since this isn't your first time offense-"

"W-what do you mean?" I stuttered still taking several of steps back. The prince wasn't letting me loose as he followed me.

"They say a muro woman bodies if not careful," he grabbed me by the waist and shoved me into him. "Can drive you insane," the prince whispered in my ear.

"They can also kill," I hissed under my breath.

"She hisses!" The prince chuckled smiling down on me.
