"What the hell is going on in here!"

"She said I was staying over, stop yelling or you'll wake her."

"I don't care! Get your hands off of my sister!"

"She's my girlfriend, and she knew I had my arms around her last night."

I could hear Damien and Colby arguing as I slowly became more conscious. There constant fighting was really getting old fast. I sat up and snuggled into Colby's arms. The boys froze as I moved, I could tell they were wondering how long I had been awake.

"Have a problem Damien? You know we have school today, right? Better get ready so were not late, don't let the door hit you on the way out," My brother was shocked, but turned and headed to his room.

I climbed out of Colby's arms and headed for the bathroom, "You might want to head home and get ready, I'll see you in class," I shut the door before he could respond. After I was ready, I walked out to a empty room. Good, he knows how to listen.

When I went downstairs I ignored Damien's death glares and went straight to his car. He didn't say a word as he drove us to the school, but I had a feeling I'd get a speech sooner or later. Before the car could stop I was out and walking into the school. As I went down the hall all eyes were on me again. Didn't these people have lives?

I went straight to my locker and began getting my stuff for English. When I moved to shut it a strong arm shut it for me. All my pain went away and I felt at bliss once more, Colby. I looked up to him and his eyes made him look like he was in pain from me pushing him away still.

I grabbed his hand, making the feeling grow, and squeezed for reassurance. His face lit up with a huge smile and I found myself returning it gladly, "We better get to English!" I shouted as I pulled him in the right direction.

He was laughing behind me but I pushed on. When we reached the room we took our seats together, still smiling like idiots. I quickly scanned the room and noticed everyone staring at us with envy, jealousy, and well, straight up pissed off looks.

I flipped off most of the ones looking at me and turned back to Colby. He was watching my every move and seemed to have seen me flip off everyone. His eyes went to the front again as if to make sure the teacher wasn't here and he leaned into me. Allot of people started shifting in their seats and half the class gasped as our lips connected.

The consuming feeling came back and our small kiss quickly turned into a make out session. We jumped when the bell rang and broke apart, both trying to catch our breath. The teacher still wasn't in which I was glad for, who knew what he'd say to 'gay guys' tonguing in his classroom.

Slowly lunch came around and I ran to get my food before Damien noticed me. I walked back into the hall and outside to my tree from the previous day. As I sat I could feel Colby getting closer, it was like we were connected, and in more then one way.

He came into my view laughing with the guy I took as Nathan, and Garren flanking them. "Hey Denim! Boldt is going to be late, but you might as well meet Nathan!" Colby gestured and I did a happy dance in my head as I realized I guessed right.

"Hey Denim! Heard some things about you! Of course everyone knows you and Colby are lovers but that just makes this even more fun!" Nathan laughed.

I could feel the blush on my cheeks. We weren't lovers, but I did love Colby, "He doesn't talk," Garren spoke up. I don't? Oh yea, I don't...

"Then why did I hear him and his brother the other day?" Nathan clearly was confused, I could tell he wasn't the brightest tool in the shed.

"He only talks with his brother," Colby stated.

"Alright," Nathan didn't sound convinced but he went with it.

"Sorry I'm late my pretties! Had a...situation,"  Boldt stood in front of the guys in his glory, I could feel the beatings all over again and my scars suddenly felt like they would burst.

"Hey B! Meet Colby's dirty little secret, Denim!" Nathan clapped Boldt on the back and turned him to face me. He knew I was the one he bumped into, and that he already knew me before that. It was all written in his expression.

"We meet again, you still owe me a apology for running into me the other day," He said slowly. His voice sent shivers up my back and Colby seemed to have noticed.

"Guys why don't you let me and my 'dirty little secret' catch up? It's been at least two hours and I'm dying, unless you want to see a gay love scene I suggest you head out!" Colby shouted with humor, but I could tell he was only saying it to get Boldt away.

"I have to see this! I'm like, so staying!" Nathan said in a girly voice.

"Let the little boys have there fun! Let's go guys!" Garren dragged Nathan and Boldt back to the school building, Boldt still looking at me.

"It's him isn't it?" Colby whispered. I only nodded. Series of cuss words could be heard from Colby as he took in what was happening. "He acts like he already knows it's you! I will kill that motherfuc-!"

"Stop," I said with the little strength I had, "This is my fight. Boldt walked into my life for a reason, if he wants to figure out I'm the girl he used to beat, let him."

"No, I'll always protect you Danna, he is messed up! I knew he beat the living crap out of a bunch of people, really I was even afraid of him before! But now that I know your one of the people he beat, he will get his ass kicked!"

I looked at Colby with a sad face. He couldn't do this for me, Boldt was his friend after all. I was just screwing up a friendship. Boldt was right, everything is my fault. I deserved every beating.

'Danna stop! I can hear what your thinking, it's not true! Your my twin sister, you never deserved to get beat! This isn't your fault, Boldt did this! I'll help Colby finish him!' I heard Damien say in my head.

'Alright, only for you Dee.' I couldn't mess my brother up again, I have to be strong for him. Even if Boldt is right, Damien has to believe I agree with him.

"Danna are you alright? You haven't been answering me the past few minutes," I could see worry in Colby's eyes, guess he really does care.

"Sorry, was just talking to Damien, he knows everything that happened. Thank you for being here for me Colby."

"I'll always be here, I love you Danna."

I felt like my heart had stopped. His words weren't empty like Boldt's had been, I could feel passion instead of hate. This boy actually loved me.

"I love you to Colby, never forget I love you with all my heart. I hope you never go away, I'd die." I really would die. Colby was all I cared and thought about, I'd always want him.

"I would never go away, I'd die before I would ever do such a thing," He vowed.
