"Tell me what happened." Billie said sitting down on the grass. I sat along side her a sighed, ready to begin explaining.

"Well, it all started when he asked me to help him prepare for a role, I agree so that I didn't have to sit in the living room hearing about my dad's cancer. At first it was going well but I made a few mistakes, that's when he lost his cool, he continued say how the is easy and I shouldn't be messing up, and that this is common knowledge. I just got fead up with him after that, so I left." I said sighing

"That happened to my the first time I started with him."Billie said.

"Oh?" I questioned.

"Don't get me wrong, David is a sweet heart, but he takes work way to seriously." She laughed.

We sat and talk for a few hours until the wind picked up and it began to rain.

"I wonder if he is in a better mood?" I asked Billie.

"Who knows." She chuckled.

We stepped inside to see my dad, he looked like he had been crying. "Dad! what's wrong?" I asked panicked.

"Oh nothing dear." He said putting on a brave front.

I heard a slight cough at the entrance to the hallway.

"Um... Melissa, can I talk to you alone?" David asked me.

"Yeah, sure, I guess." I replied. As Billie passed me she gave me a one armed half hug. Once ed were alond Dabid was the first to speak.

"I didn't mean to lose my temper." He sighed quietly.

"Yeah, I know, you're just too passionate for your work. Save it, I've heard it before. Tell me something I haven't heard" I said.

"How about this?" David asked stepping closer. Our faces now only a few centimeters apart. His bottom lip grazed mine. I couldn't help but smile. Our lips connected, it seemed almost perfect if only I could pause time.
