After School

I walk to the training grounds, ready to work on my tiejutsu. Bring it on I think.

"Hi Yuki!!!!" Said Rock Lee walking to the training ground also. I smile a real genuine smile. Rock Lee was one of the couple of people who aren't scared of me.

"Hi Lee!" I say, walking over to him. "Watcha doin?" I ask.

"Working on my tiejutsu. What about you?" He asks. I smile again.

"Same." I say. We both start practicing, and after a while we practice on each other, fighting out tiejutsu style.

"Good job Yuki-Chan!" Lee says, trying to catch his breath.

"Back at ya." I say.

"See ya tomorrow Yuki-Chan!" Yells Lee, running away. "I got to catch up to Gai-sensei!" He yells again.

"Kay!" I yell waving.

I lay on the ground, watching the clouds. Someone kicks my leg. I look over and see Ino smiling. I sigh, and look away, trying to ignore her. Yeah, you can't ignore a loud mouth, trust me.

"What are you doing?" Ino asks in a snobby tone. I keep my eyes closed. Maybe she'll disappear. I think. Why am I always wrong! I yell in my head, because she starts to talk, not disappearing.

"I asked you a question!" She yells. I yawn and turn over on my side.

"What’s it look like?" I say drowsily. She kicks my leg again.

"What’s going on here?" Someone says in an annoyed and bored voice. D@mn I think Why now? I keep my eyes closed, hoping they'll both disappear... off the face of the Earth.

"Nothing." Ino says sweetly to Sasuke. "Just kicking dirt." She says, meaning me. I open my eyes and sit up. I look at Ino, my eyes flashing dangerously.

"Make like a rocket, and take off." I growl at Ino. She shrieks and runs away. I lie back down and close my eyes.

"What do you want?" I sigh.

"Listen, about Itachi-" Sasuke begins before I cut him off.

"It's no big deal. I got over it. I'm a Daseke, remember." I say, playing it cool. It's quiet. Good, he left. I think. Warm lips brush against mine. I open my eyes and see Sasuke over me.

"What are you-" I get cut off my Sasuke.

"How can it be no big deal?" He asks looking me in the eyes. I look away, tears trying to fall.

"Did you know my clan was cursed?" I ask. I never told anyone this, and every time I was starting to think about it, I would cut myself off.

"What?" He asks confused. I look at him, straight in the eyes, my eyes looking determined.

"I'm cursed." I say. He gets off me. I sit up, looking somewhere else. Now he'll stay away from me, like everyone else. I think.

"How are you cursed?" He asks, pulling my chin so I'll look at him. I hate myself, for being so weak, for getting myself in this position.

"Daseke means alone. It's not just some word for my clan; it was a curse for them. And for me. My clan was cursed to be alone. But they weren’t really alone, because they had each other to keep company. I was never alone. I had aunts, uncles, cousins, a family. Once Itachi killed them, I had no one. That day I truly became a Daseke, I became alone.” I say looking into the tree’s.

“Itachi took everything from you, like me.”Says Sasuke. I get up and start to walk away.

“He had a reason for taking everything from you. To prove his own strength. He had NO reason to kill my clan, to take everything from me. He didn’t wound you, he left your skin unblemished.” I say
