Chapter 5 - Pure Shit

"I did not raise you to be those kind of girl who would get married because she got knocked up!" my mom bellowed.

I face palmed myself, earning a gasp from her.

"Angeline Wil-"

"Mom! I'm not pregnant!" I shouted.

That absolutely shut her up. She sat down on her chair with her cheeks blazing red.

"Oh, okay then. Let's continue dinner," she said as if nothing happened.

"Mom, you practically screamed at me and now you expect me to eat dinner?"

She sent me a death glare but I just brushed her off.

I'm done being? that girl behind her wings. I'm 19. I'm legal.

I stood up and excused myself before going to my room.

As soon as I sat on my bed my door opened. Jake went in the room with his hands on his pockets, the way he does when he's nervous.

"You okay?" he asked awkwardly as he stood by my desk.

I nodded my head.

"You're not."

"They why did you even ask?" I snapped.

He smirked at me. "That's what they usually do right?"

I rolled my eyes and started taking off my hoddie.

"Angel, what-" he cleared his throat, "are you doing?"

I simply brushed his question off and laid on my bed.

"You do realize that it's only 10 am."

I nodded my head and cuddled with my pillow.

Then I felt someone pull off the pillow that I was hugging.

"Jake!" I hissed.

He smirked at me before he laid beside me. He wrapped his arms around me and tangled his legs with mine.

"Get off!" I snapped.

I can't even deny his good smell or the warmth that I felt when he held me. I can even feel my body heating up and my heart beating.

"Jake-"

"Shh, just sleep. I won't try anything."

Not convincing but I did fell asleep.

We woke up around 5pm. We were both hungry by the time that we woke up.

"I missed this place," I said.

Jake smiled at me through the menu and nodded his head. "We loved it here."

We were at the diner where we all use to go. It's still the same. Nothing changed.

Immediately I started to miss Alex. I haven't talked about her to anyone except with Zach. And I haven't heard Jake talk about her either except when we were at the embassy.

We were eating and talking normally when it happened. We should have been aware about the time. Of course teenagers would be going home or hanging out this time.

"Can I have a photo with you, Jake?" A blonde girl asked.

Jake politely agreed.

I don't mind either. I like how the boys or Jake interact with their fans.

Soon enough the diner was cramped. Yelling teenagers came and I felt myself being pushed off the booth.

"Angel!" I heard Jake scream through the crowd.

I lost sight of him.

"Jake!"

It was a stupid idea since everyone was saying it.

"Can I have a picture?"

"Jake, I love you!"

"Move away!"

"Jake!"

"Can you sign this?"

"Jake!"

"Move!"

I felt myself being shoved. How I got out of our booth was beyond me.

"Lin!"

It was Jake yelling my name. I haven't heard him call me that for a long time but the way he yelled my name made my heart wrench. He was panicking.

"Sign this for me?"

I was pressed in the crowd. Everybody was pushing and pulling that I can feel myself loosing balance any minute.

"Alright, guys!" Jake screamed.

I looked up and saw him through the crowd. He was probably standing up on a table.

"Can everybody calm down? I'll take pictures outside but please can I have my girlfriend back?" he said.

I heard various of comments but I tried not to listen to it. Some were just too mean.

I felt myself being able to move. Soon enough I was beside Jake. He went down the table and wrapped his arm around me. He was obviously angry.

We went out of the diner and he quickly led me in the car.

"I have to take pictures," he told me with his eyes roaming around me.

He was checking if I was fine.

I nodded my head but he didn't move. His hands were still holding my arms like if he let go of me I will break.

"Jake, go."

He nodded his head and slowly went towards the crowd.

"That was out of hand!" Jake yelled through his phone. "Tracey! They hurt Angel!"

My heart pumped wildly in my chest. So that's why he was so angry.

"Of course I love them. They got me here. But what they did was out of hand! She has scratches and bruises! No. I want a security."

I looked at him wildly.

No.

I don't like security.

"Tracey, if you want us to keep on going on public I want security on Angel," Jake hissed through the phone.

"Jake, I don't want security!" I snapped at him.

He glanced at me furiously before watching the road. "Just do it," he snapped before hanging up.

"I don't want security," I stated.

"Too bad," he snapped.

"Jake! I'm serious!"

"You got hurt there!"

"Why do you care?!"

That shut him up. He looked at me with narrowed eyes before stopping the car in our driveway.

"I just want to help you, Lin," he hissed so dangerously it scared me.

He walked out of the car without a word leaving his car keys with me.

He never called me Lin.

Shit.

It's more annoying than Angel.
