Good Lord I like MJ Emerald that way

"Its just a few more miles don't be such a girl" MJ said to me

He came to my house to surprise me. Said he wants to take me somewhere after driving to the state park, he decided its time to hike and now, we've been walking for almost 30 minutes and am dead on tired

"Well, excuse you but I am a girl"

"Fine. Just a few more minutes"

"If I faint, you'll have to carry me"

"If you faint, I'll just leave you here"

"Are we almost there?"

"Yes we are almost there. God with the way you are hyperventilating, someone may think that you just ran a marathon"

"Am sorry for whatever it is I have done to make you wish to punish me like this" I said panting

"Okay just a few more steps and here we are" MJ Said beaming at me

And I could only stare in awe and look around. The place is beautiful

It is a lake with clear clean water almost out shadowed by the trees surrounding it and it is utterly beautiful

"This is nice" I said

"Worth the long hike?" He asked

"Nothing is worth that long hike"

I laid down on the grass and closed my eyes feeling the sun on my skin

"Don't you dare ask me to swim cos I don't have extra clothes"

"What do you think is in this big bag of mine. You can borrow Bells' clothes"

"If I fit in Bella's clothes, I'll post a video of me pole dancing on youtube"

I know I said I was a size six but that's like wishful thinking for me. I haven't been a size six in like forever am more of a size eight

I opened my eyes to see MJ arranging red cups and paper plates on a blanket he spread on the grass

"Awwww. A picnic, you are so sweet"

"Ha, I have my moments. come over" MJ said to me and I went to meet him

He brought turkey sandwiches and apple juice and a bag of pretzels

"Thanks" I said after he placed a sandwich on my plate

"No problem"

"How did you find this place?" I asked

"I like to hike. Exercise really"

"It shows" I said checking him out blushing when I caught him smirking

"I come here to sleep at nights sometimes. Something about seeing the stars calms me"

"You swim here often?"

"No. Not really" he replied quietly pouring apple juice inside my cup.

"Thanks. Why don't you and don't tell me you are allergic to chlorine even I know there's no chlorine here"

"Am not really allergic to chlorine" he said quietly

"So you lied?"

"Well not lie per say just hiding the truth"

"Why then?"

"Am sort of aquaphobic"

"Really? MJ Emerald is afraid of harmless water?" I said barely covering my urge to laugh

"Its not funny. When I was young I almost drowned so since then, I couldn't go underwater again"

"Oh. Am sorry"

"Eh its nothing"

"Am I a bad person for being glad that there's finally something you can't do?"

"Yes you are"  he said and I laughed

"Hey, how do you know Luke?" I asked MJ after we finished eating and are lying on the grass eating pretzels

"We are on the same basketball team"

"You play basketball?" I asked surprised

"Yeah. Am the captain"

"Then you are good?"

"Am not good, am great. But Luke, Luke is phenomenal he makes basketball seem more than a sport"

"Then why isn't he captain?"

"Because am MJ and he's Luke. People don't really like him and besides, he doesn't speak much one might think he's dumb. Not a good captain material"

"My mum's dating his dad and he seems like a good guy"

"Yeah he is. I've always liked him but he's really difficult to talk to"

I looked at MJ, his eyes were closed, his face looked totally serene, tranquil, peaceful and utterly beautiful.

He is wearing a red shirt and dark blue trousers and black vans which he has already taken off

Wisps of his hair is brushing his face and he's smiling

It hit me like a lightning bolt

I really really like MJ Emerald that way

I have a crush on my fake boyfriend who under his bad boy exterior is actually really nice.

And he doesn't like me back but by God,

MJ will learn to love me.
