The second I got off of that field, I ran toward the pool. Star was doing her laps and couldn't hear me, despite how much I yelled, much to her choach's dismay. So I might have grabbed the megaphone off of the coach's hand and yelled that she had a double date with me. Which earned Star a couple cheers from her teammates and a warning from the coach towards me. Now all I needed to do was convince my mother to let me go to a party with Ryan. Someone thats known for humping and dumping. Easy right? Well thats what I thought.
But here I was, an hour later still begging, " Mom come on please! I haven't gone to a party since I was eleven."
" And the problem behind that is?" She continued to read her book.
I got on both of my knees and pleaded, " Mom I'm eighteen."
" Rebecca I trust you, I do. But I dont trust the people around you. It's not a safe enviorment." Mom gave me a small smile before going back to her book.
It was time for the puppy dog eyes, and pouting face, " Mom.." I whined.
" Oh come on Jill let her have some fun." Said Aunt Quin as she sat beside mom with a similar book.
Mom sighed, " Fine!"
" Yes!" I began to cheer.
" But -" Of course there had to be a but, " You need to be home at midnight and answer your phone every single time I call you." She bargained.
I nodded, " Okay thanks mom." Kissing her on the cheek, I hugged Aunt Quin, " And thanks Aunt Quin." I whispered.
She gave me a wink and turned back to my mom, talking about some book. Which gave me the chance to run upstairs and escape any further questions from my mom. I swear sometimes I wonder if the F.B.I has wondered about asking her to join them, she can bust anybody! And I legit mean anybody. It'd be cool to have an F.B.I mother. Dropping onto my bed, I continued to think about my mom as an F.B.I agent. Until someone barged into my room.
" How did you get us a double date with the guys and how is your mother okay with that?" Star squealed.
I laughed, " Joe totally likes you thats why and hey I figured a bit of publicity for me and the manwhore wouldn't be so bad."
" Oh my god. Bex do you understand the seriousness of this party!" She fantisized.
" No I'm not sure. Dare to explain."
Pulling me up, she shook me, " Everyone's going to finally know who we are. This is your first time going anywhere despite school where you're not Micheal's girlfriend. You need get a good comeback."
" I was just thinking about hooking you up with Joe. Dont worry about me love." I couldn't help but smile at my bestfriend's overthinking.
Scoffing she said, " Okay fine I won't push you far this time. And you're right it's my time to shine." With a playful smirk.
" Damn right it's all about you. Now lets get you dressed up." With that said we began pulling out all my clothes.

Two hours later; an emergency call to Damon, thirty outfits and a whole lot of hairspray later Star was finally ready and primped to perfection. Damon and I decided she should wear a white floral mini dress, and have her red hair all tied up in a nice ponytail with a pair of white pumps. By the time we were about to go she was jumping up and down from excitment, while I threw on my wife beater.
" You are not seriously going to wear that?"Asked Star.
I looked at my outfit. I was wearing a pair of ripped jeans, white wife beater, gold necklace, and a black and gold bandanna tied through my hair. With a couple swipes of mascara and lipgloss. I personally thought I didn't look bad, especially because I wasn't even trying.
