Austin's POV:

Alan grabbed my hand and we ran. When we got outside we all stopped. The rain had stopped and there was like no wind what so ever.

" The storm is sucking all the wind." I whispered

I felt a vibration go off in my pocket. I pulled my phone out.

From: Weather Alert

' There is a tornado warning for your area. Get to a shelter or go to the center part of your house.' it warned

I looked up at them. Alan was handing them each their phones and we started walking again. We would have drivin but Bill said that without the power, the electric stuff would have freaked.

" We gotta find a church. Or something." Alan muttered

" Umm..." Bill said

We looked at the way of the tornado. It was touching and was coming towards us.

" We should probably run." I said

" Probably." Phil said

Then he took off, dragging Tino behind him. We all ran as fast as we could. We eventually found a town. But the storm was getting closer.

I grabbed Alan's arm.

" Guys, I'm thinking we might have to start knocking. "

" Theres got to be church somewhere!" I said in fustration

We ran around a bit more, finding no signs or anything.

Finnaly we gave in and knocked on someones door.

No answer.

I looked. The tornado was getting dangerously close. The wind was picking up and I started to feel sprinkles.

I knocked harder begging for someone to answer. But there was no answer.

I looked back just in time to see Tino flying through the window.

I smacked my forhead.

" Guys! Lets go!" he yelled back to us

I shrugged and went in after him.

" Shit!" Alan hissed

He had cut his hand on the glass. I lifted him from the window and cradled him in my arms.

He looking like he was going to cry. The cut was deep and it was bleeding. A lot.

" Dammit Alan." I growled

He whimpered and looked down.

" Guys find me a shirt or something!" I yelled

I set him down, but kept my arms around him.

Phil ran up to me, holding a shirt. I took it and pressed it to Alan's cut.

He shifted in my arms and I could see that he was crying.

I kissed his forehead, trying to make him feel better.

" Austin, it hurts." He whimpered

" I know. But we have to take shelter. I promise you that you'll be okay."

He nodded to me.

I looked around. All the guys stood, looking like they where waiting for us.

" We have to find the basement." I told them

We took off searching the house until we found a door that leaded down to the basement. We walked down the stairs.

" Whos there?" A small voice asked

" Oh.. Um we needed a place-"

A hand grabbed my arm and I jumped. I looked down.

A girl who appered to be about 15 maybe, stood before me.

" Your Austin Carlile. Arn't you?"

" Yep I am." I said smileing at her

" Wow... Big fan. Of you and the band. But this is not the time. Come, come." She pulled me towards another door

The door opened to a large room. A bedroom to be exact.

" Is this your room?" I asked her

" Yeah. You guys make yourselves comfy. We are gonna be here a while."

I looked at Alan. The shirt was soaked and he wasn't looking to good.

" Do you have a first aid kit?" I asked her

" He didn't." she said walking over

She unwrapped his hand and rolled her eyes.

" Smooth, Ashby."

She walked into what I assume is her bathroom.

She came back with a red box.

" Here. Take these." She handed him two pills and a bottle of water

He took them and she grabbed his hand.

" Got yourself deep. You tried climbing through the window, didn't you?"

He nodded meekily.

" Of course you did. Austin, hes your man. You gotta protect him." she scolded

" Wait what?" I asked

She rolled her eyes at me as she pulled out stitching untencials.

" Cause I totes don't know what true love is when I see it." She said

I looked down so she wouldn't see the blush that had formed on my cheeks.

" Alan, you might wanna hold onto his hand. This is gonna hurt."

The storm raged outside and Alan was still crying. We weren't panicking any more and Phil had fallin asleep on Tino's lap.

I smiled as I looked over at them.

I rubbed his back as he leaned into me.

She had had to stitch up his hand. She only knew how to do this because her mom had made sure that she knew.

I looked at my phone.

It was already eleven. The tornado had passed and we where waiting for the rain to stop.

This had been a really long day.
