"Hey Bee wanna go to the mall?"
"Yeah!."
We end up taking a cab to the closest mall.
"Let's go to Hot Topic first okay?"
"Ok."
I hold Bee's hand when we walk into Hot Topic. I get more warpaint eyeliner, neon nail polish and new faded skinny jeans and a pair of black fishnet gloves that go up to my elbows. When the dude finishes ringing it up he asks,
"Is that your daughter?"
"No this is my friend's kid."
"Oh. Your total is _________"
I pay and leave with bee.
"Want some pretzel bits from Auntie Anne's?"
"Yesh!"
"What can i get you?"
asks the chick working at Auntie Anne's. She's a blonde, green eyes, really skinny and tan.
"2 of those."
I say pointing to the mini sugary pretzel bits.
"And to drink?"
"Bee what do you want to drink?"
"That pink drink."
"That's strawberry lemonade."
The chick tells us. I nod and say.
"Okay a small of that and a medium of regular lemonade."
"Is that your kid?"
"No this is my friend's kid."
"Uhm that'll be _________"
I pay her and when we get the preztels and drinks I ask Bee
"What Table?"
She skips to a random one in the middle.
"This one."
"Okay."
I say laughing. Then the paparizzi comes up. Joy.
"Mandy! Mandy! Why are you with Gerard's kid?"
"Where's Gerard?"
"Where's Andy?"
"Shut up!"
They all quiet down.
"Okay. So there's this new thing called babysitting. Where you watch someone else's kid and get paid. Your welcome I just got a job for your kids."
"Where's Andy?"
"Not here."
"Where's Gerard?"
"Not here. Come on Bee let's go back."
I pick up Bee. She holds the pretzel and her drink. I grab my drink with my free hand and we get a cab back to the hotel.
