dear Arix,

valentine's day is long gone (well, two days gone) and i couldn't be happier. at our school, valentine's day brings more opportunities for kids to snog each others faces off and call it 'being romantic' and seriously, getting my books out from my locker and kids eating each others faces on either side of me is not very enjoyable. i try to ignore it as best i can but come on, a person can only ignore so much noise and grossness before they go mad. and that's exactly what almost happened to me at the end of the school day on the 14th, when i yelled a quick goodbye to Grace, flung open my door and screamed in aggravation. my mum came down the stairs and just smirked at me, saying:

her: "valentine's day, eh? crazy hormones making those kids run wild."

i rolled my eyes and ran upstairs where i lay on my bed, shoved my earbuds in my ears and cranked the music up.

so Arix, now i ask you, did you find some guy to snog the living daylights out of? did Oliver ask you out? yeah, well i only asked because i'm polite. not like i actually care.

psht.
