When we got to The Shack, it was just as I predicted it to be.
Empty with nobody there.
We picked the booth that was in the back, but near the middle. When we took a seat a waitress came and took our order. After she left, Zara looked slightly nervous.
Time to cut to the chase
"So Zara when is the baby due?" I asked
She rubbed her hand over her stomach,"I'm due in a month", she replied
Lucy looked at me and said," We gotta speed it up then if we want it to work"
"May I ask, what is this plan?" Zara asked
I explained to her what the plan was and what was her part in it.
A voice in the back of my head wanted to ask her how long she's been with Romeo. I cant belive I'm sitting across from his babymama!
Story of my life
Anyway back to this coonverstion, Zara was beginning to understand where I was going and what her part was. When our food came, curiousity got the best of me and I just had to ask.
"How long were you with Romeo?", I blurted out
Lucy gave me a look that could kill.
Zara replied", No its fine Lucy I don't mind telling"
She took a deep breathe and rubbed her stomach
"It was last year, when Romeo started to go out," She said ", It was perfect and I thought we were in love"
"When we started dating,I couldnt belive he was talking to me. I was all about school, nothing else"
She looked at me with a smile on her face. She had the most beautiful eyes, they were so unique.
'He made me feel like a princess, he told me everyday that he loved me", She continued", We talked about everything and everyday"
"When we kissed, I felt complete"
Lucy interrupted "< So how did yall break up?"
Bump that I want to know where was I when all this went down?!
"He wanted sex and I was so stupid to belive he would stay" Zara answered
"So here you are", I said
Zara nodded her head at my answer. I feel bad for the girl I mean who does that to a female? Romeo does obviously....
Something came to my mind and I had to ask Zara.
"Um does he know about the baby?" I asked
"No. he doesnt even know I'm pregnant"
Can you say DEAD BEAT DADDY?!
