Catch 22 {Jax Teller}

Chapter 9

Haley had never felt so happy to have those strong arms wrapped around her again, she thought for sure she was dead

"Babe I've got you, thank god your okay" Jax said cradling her in his arms in the Samcro van

"Jax I thought you were never coming" Haley cried wrapping her arms around Jax no matter how much her body hurt, Jax never really saw Haley cry much, she would always tell him she needed to be strong and crying was for the weak

"I'll always come for you Lee, always" Jax said as he kissed the top of her head trying to hold back his own tears of joy

"Thank you, I just want to go home" Haley said as she held on to Jax for dear life.

Once they arrived back at Haley's apartment, Clay had given Jax permission to stay with Haley while they had church to discuss the possibility of retaliation now that they killed four of the cartels members

Jax helped Haley into her apartment, and down the hall to the bathroom

"Are you going to be okay in here?" Jax asked leaning against the door frame as she turned on the shower

"Yeah I'll be alright" Haley said

"I'm gonna order pizza for you is that alright?" Jax asked as she nodded her head "I'll be right out here if you need me" Jax said walking closer to her and touching her upper arm

Haley felt a million times better after her shower she needed it, she felt like she was in there for almost an hour, her skin was wrinkled and the bathroom was so steamy she could barely see

"Jax?" Haley called out as she walked into the living room and then to the kitchen

"I'm right here darlin'" Jax said as he walked back into the apartment off the small porch

"I thought you left" Haley said

"No, I'm not going anywhere, let eat okay" Jax said helping her to the kitchen

"I must look horrendous" Haley said looking down, Jax tilted her chin up

"Your still the same beautiful girl I know, you'll heal" Jax smiled Haley's split lip hurt like hell but she gave Jax a small smile back

After eating Haley felt much better, the first real meal she's had all week

"Are you leaving tonight?" Haley asked as Jax gave her a glass of water

"Only if you want me too" He said as she drank the whole glass

"Not really, i dont want to be alone" Haley said quietly handing the glass back to Jax

"Then I'll stay, if you want I'll sleep on the couch" Jax said pointing to the living room

"No, I'd like it if you slept in my bed with me, I just want to be held if that's okay" Haley said, Jax walked back to her and wrapped his arms around her kissing her clean hair smelling her signature coconut smell, it was refreshing

"I'd love that" Jax said as he turned off the lights and led her to her bedroom, helping her get into the bed

"Jax? How did you guys get the money?" Haley asked pulling the covers closer to her body

Jax took a deep breath in "I sold my house" he said as his pants slid to the floor

"What are you going to do when Abel comes home?" Haley asked as he slid his shirt over his head

"I'm not sure yet babe, we needed the money but since we still have it cause we shot them, my house isn't an option right now so I'm not exactly sure" Jax said sliding into bed next to Haley

"I will pay you back, I'll work doubles or triples at the diner to give you what you need" Haley said feeling terrible that Abel had no where to go

"Lee. Don't worry about it, I still have a few weeks I'll figure it out" Jax said as she scooted closer to him when he put his arms out to welcome her

"Thank you so much for coming for me" Haley cried

"Babe, you don't need to thank me, I love you and I'd do anything for you, you know that" Jax said kissing her head

"I love you too" Haley said as she slowly fell asleep

Haley looked in the mirror at herself, she didn't sleep for long, once she was sure Jax was in a deep sleep Haley got out of bed and looked at herself in the mirror, she wasn't the same person she was last week, her bottom lip was split open, both of her eyes were a purplish black, and her cheeks were flooded with multiple cuts, her body was covered in bruises. She was sure a rib or two was broken.

As the bathtub filled thoughts flooded her mind as she took a pill bottle out of the medicine cabinet

"Teller doesn't want you"

"Your nothing to Samcro, if you were they would of been here day one"

"Jax Teller just wants your pussy, that's all your good for"

"No one is going to want you after I'm through with you"

"I'm sure your father wanted a boy"

"Your just a piece of shit, no one will love you"

"No one is coming for you slut"

"Don't worry I'll keep you for myself, your a good lay"

"Maybe if Samcro didn't fuck us over you'd be fucking Teller"

"You are nothing, nothing but a nice piece of ass; bet ya slept with everyone"

"Don't you wish you were dead you stupid whore"

Haley closed her eyes as she sunk into the hot water suddenly wishing she was infact dead
