I have to say that I was relieved when Parker pulled up beside the path that leads to my dorm. I wasn't quite sure if I made the right decision or not, but Parker really did seem like a nice guy.

"Thanks," I told him, un-clicking my seatbelt and shuffling out the seat.

"No problem," he said, sending me a smile. "Try not to wander around alone for a little while. You seem like one of those people that attract trouble wherever you go."

"Geeh, thanks," I joked sarcastically, rolling my eyes. Reaching for my bag, I pulled it up over my shoulder and once again relayed my thanks.

"I still think you should go to the cops."

"No," I responded curtly, getting ready to shut the door behind me if he persisted with all that again.

"Okay, but stay safe."

"Yeah, yeah, you like to be Prince charming, I get it," I condescended, letting out a huff of breath. "Now you're starting to sound like my mom."

Parker laughed, "Okay, I get the message, leave the chick alone."

"Finally," I said teasingly, raising my hand above my head and letting my palm open and close.

"What are you doing?" Parker sniggered, watching my actions.

"Being a light bulb, see!" I continued to open and close my hand on top of my head, making funny faces at the same time until Parker was laughing almost hysterically.

"How old are you? Ten?" He teased when he had regained his composure.

"No, six, duh! Get it right," I retorted with mock attitude.

"Okay, Six then."

Chuckling lightly at my own amusing self, I let my head draw to the dorm with a sigh. "I better be going."

"Okay, well see you around."

"Well, maybe. I don't really know you, but thanks for the lift."

"No problem."

I shut the door gently, giving a small wave, before watching the jeep drive off into the distance. I then turned on my heel, facing the dorm. If Kasper was there, his ass was in major trouble. Who leaves someone like that? I was beginning to get quite fed up. Besides, if he had just gone and told me not to wait for him, I would have caught the five thirty bus, not stand around like a chicken until the bus service only runs buses every two hours.

Walking up to the dorm, I knocked on the door, butterflies fluttering in my stomach as I waited, hoping that Kasper wasn't there, that he hadn't just abandoned me.

I felt my heart pop when a half naked Kasper answered the door looking equally furious.

"Where on earth have you been –?”

"Why the hell didn't you wait for me?" we both said in overlap, glaring at each other.

"What do you mean where on earth have you been?" I cried, tears for some unknown reason swirling in the corners of my eyes. "I have been waiting for you for hours. You didn't even tell me not to wait for you. I have been standing round like some loser for three hours. You're a dick."

To that Kasper's face crumbled. "What do you mean why didn't I tell you. I told Jared that I was going to a last minute conference between one and six over our relationship. I asked him to tell you. I would have told you myself, but we had that argument," he growled, though his anger didn't seem to be directed at me anymore, but at Jared. "Are you telling me Jared didn't pass along the message?"
