"WHAT?!" Dawn exclaimed in shock as she almost spat out her juice. "Ash asked you out?!"

"Shhh!" The honey blonde covered her mouth as she took a glimpse around her to see if anyone was listening. It would be nothing but trouble if angry fangirls heard the news. "I told him I'll think about it."

Dawn's eyes had a sparkling glint to it as she smirked. "So you're planning to say yes, right?"

"I... Uh... It depends." Serena stuttered, her face slowly turning pink. Ignoring her blue haired friend's smug grin, she decided to switch the topic.

"Come to think of it, how's it going between you and Gary lately?"

"Oh good! We've been getting along better than I thought, it was the right to give it a try," Dawn grinned happily.

From behind her, the honey haired girl saw Gary sneak up from behind and put his arm on her head.

"Greetings, Lady Dawn and Lady Serena. How is your day going? Would you like some desserts and earl tea?" He said.

Serena raised an eyebrow in amusement. "What's with the formal greeting?"

"Dawn got me into cosplaying," Gary explained, still with an elegant posture. "I'm no longer Gary Oak, I am simply one hell of a butler."

"Gary has a natural talent in cosplaying," the blue haired girl rested her head on his shoulder. "It's a waste for him not to use it."

Serena giggled softly. "I'm glad to see you two hitting it off so well."

Suddenly, an unpleasant aura slowly approached the group. She gulped as a group of angry fangirls was standing behind the couple.

"Yeah everything's good," Dawn huffed as she sent death glares to the group. "Except for the fact that I have to fight Gary's fan club everyday. Serena, you should be ready to do that too if you're gonna date Ash. He's the school heartthrob after all."

Serena only laughed nervously. It seemed like that she would have to find herself a stick to defend herself.

"And plus," Dawn leaned to her ear with a whisper, "you gotta properly explain to Calem too since he still likes you."

Serena nodded in understanding. Because of Ash's blunt introduction with Calem, they've never really been in good terms.

She just hoped that she could finish the talk with him without any hard feelings.

"Calem, are you free to talk?" The honey blonde asked as class ended.

Calem seemed happy that she talked to him and Serena led him to an empty hall. She checked her surroundings to see if it was clear, then bowed her head in apology.

"I wanted to talk about the two of us." She started off. "I know that you still have feelings for me..."

"Will you finally consider it?" The navy haired boy's eyes lit up in anticipation.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you that I can't go out with you. I only like you as a friend, nothing else. I apologize if something I did made you misunderstand." She explained tactfully.
