Shield Playing Steve Rogers Imagine

You were in your shared apartment bored out of your mind Steve wasn't here right now because he had to go and get grocery's. You see you knew that Steve was an Avenger because one he told you and second he was all over the news. But the only problem was he would never let you even be around his shield. The reason why was because he didn't want you to hurt yourself which you thought it your opinion was stupid. But in the corner of your eye you saw Steve's shield.

You wondered why he didn't even put it away today. He probably just forgot to put it away you made a cute fighting stance. "Stand Back Citizens! This looks like a job for Mrs Captain America!" You said punching the air you were so caught up in your actions that you were to focused to realize that your boyfriend was leaning against the door frame watching you. "Y/n What are you doing?"

You jumped and turned around and saw your boyfriend Steve. "Steve I didn't realize you got home!" "Y/n Please Put My Shield Down." "Why won't you ever let me hold it?" "Because I'm afraid you could hurt yourself now please put my shield down." "Why don't you come over here and make me Steve?" He chuckled and walked over to you small form you then cowered behind the shield. He then grabbed the shield and gently took it from your hands then grabbing your waist he pulled you into his chest. Resting his head on top of yours being the tall giant he is he could do so. " I love you Y/n." "I love you to Steve." He then looked down at you and you stood on your toes and kissed his lips.

He of course kissed you back when he pulled away you frowned "Have I ever told you how much I love you?" "Like all the time Steve." "I just want you to know that I love you so much and I never want to let you go." You smiled as his words and hugged his waist once again since you were so short you pretty much only reached his waist. He then brought you both to the couch sitting down he wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close once again
