The picture above has nothing to do with this chapter, but I thought it was funny.

Kenny's POV

I can't believe she swore. She always called out Lee when he did. She really has changed. Maybe I went too hard on her. Way too hard. Maybe I should say sorry to her.

Clem's POV

I walk out of the tent after Kenny and go over to Rebecca.

"Hey, Rebecca." I say.

"Hey, Clem." She says.

"Is there anything I can do?"

"You could go find Jane, or Mike and Bonnie." She says, pointing the ways they went.

"Okay," I say.

I go the way Jane went first.

*Time skip to when she gets there*

I see Jane sitting at a picnic table. I go up to talk to her.

"Hey," I say.

"Hey Clem," Jane says. "You finally made it back."

"Yeah."

"How'd you get out?"

"Well, that's a long story." I say.

"I got time."

"When we were in the horde, I saw a walker biting Sarita's hand. Kenny wouldn't leave her, so I axed her in the head. Kenny got mad and pushed me and ran off."

"Geez, he's going insane." Jane says.

"No he's not." I argue.

"He's a broken man, Clem. I don't want him killing you." Jane says.

"He won't. That was just a one time thing." I say seriously.

"You don't know that."

"He did this back in my old group. He....he just, he snapped."

"Maybe this is his breaking point." Jane says.

"Can we just talk about something else?" I ask.

"Okay, partner. Let's check out that deck." She says, getting up. "I like the height."

" 'Partner?' " I ask.

"Don't let it get to your head. C'mon."

We get to the start of the stairs.

"I hope this place is what we're looking for." Jane says. "God knows we could use a break."

We get to the top of the stairs to see the gate locked.

"Check this out. The gate's still locked, which means hopefully no one's gotten into whatever was locked in there in the first place." Jane says.

"Do you think you could pick the lock?" I ask.

"I should be able to figure something out." Jane says, taking a nail file out of her pocket. "Maybe this'll work."

"A nail file?"

"Versatility is not overrated."

Jane gets down on her knees to try to pick the lock.

"You know, uh, it wouldn't hurt to try a heavier hand with this thing. See if you can find something bigger. We might need to bust the mechanism." Jane says.

I go over to look in the trash can. Nothing.

"Find anything?" Jane says.

"No. Not even trash."
