RECAP:

Instantly, my eyes roamed around for Hayden's mate. As everyone stood, I noticed a blond head kept down, eyes firmly fixed on a plate infront of her. The gesture was rude and would be seen as something to give punishment for if it were another wolf.

Father slowly walked past her, chuckling to himself. I couldn't help but stare, and when everyone sat and she looked up, I was blown away by her light blue eyes. She was so beautiful, but then a thought hit me. Her family had killed Sam. A growl rippled through my chest and father quickly elbowed me,making me shut it.

Sam and I had been so close, incredibly close, albeit he was a majority of years older, we still got along so well. He got me through my first shift, he helped me find my humanity again.

She took that away from me.

Fate 5

After what seemed a gruelling three hours, - with no blood for me - I had finally got back to the room I was staying in, For now anyway.

Hayden had told me that some of the male wolves would go to the guest room to drink and talk, him included, so I wouldn't be seeing him tonight. Unsure if I were greatful or not that I wouldn't be seeing him. Maybe it would give me time to look around the room for any sort of way out that didn't mean I would have to jump off the roof.  The red-head girl that was in here before and sat by me in the dinning hall; was called Georgia. And boy was she not happy I got to sit next to Hayden.

Constantly leaning over me, asking Hayden whether his sausages tasted nice, if the mashed potatoe tasted good. She even went as far as to knock my drink over and down me with a sardonic smile and an 'oops?'. I brushed it off. Whatever. She could do what she liked, I did not want Hayden.

Liar, a small part of me whispered, but I chose to ignore that feeling and push it deep down inside.

I also noticed Kingsley staring at me, and for some reason that worried me. He had been giving off dangerous vibes the entire time I had sat there.

Sighing, I rolled off of the bed and landed on the floor and just lay there for a few seconds before stretching and sitting upward. The curtains were not yet drawn and the inky blackness from outside wafted in, making me feel uncomfortable. I may be a vampire, but to much black can be sufocating.

Shuffling towards them, I peeked out, cursing that I was atleast three floors up. Could I make the jump? Maybe, but would I be seen? Most definetly. From what I could tell from dinner, the big bulky guys at the door would definetly be something I wouldn't be able to get past.
