Colored Dot's 02

"Simon," Mom greeted breathlessly.

"Katie, London, Lenah." Simon shook his head.

His trained cool keeping me on edge.

London quickly walked ovre to me,  his head down.

"So.." Simon began.

"WHY THE BATS OF HELL ARENT YOU IN THE CAR!?" Father suddenly yelled.

"Sorry, sorry," Mom said shooing us out of the room, our luggage being pulled.

As soon as we were situated in the car, everone tensed.

I pulled at my dress uneasily as the car began to move.

We, meaning me and London, had never been to the human world before...

"So...how exactly do we get there?" I asked.

Mom and Dad froze up.

"Uh..Mom?"

"Dad?" London asked.

"You'll see."

And thats when the car veered off the edge of a cliff i didnt know we were on.

"Oh, MY, GOD!" I screamed as London was flung into me and we flew off the edge.

Could Vampires die?

I think  i might...

We landed heavily with a large bang.

"Uh!" I gasped as London removed himself from my lap.

"Ow, ow.." London said rubbing his head.

"I hate you Simon." Katie said.

He chuckled and kissed her sweetly.

"WTH! Why didnt you warn us!?" London and i screamed.

"Simon.." My mom stated shaking her head grinning.

He faked hurt.

"What?"

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car.

But not before i saw mom freeze.

"Katie? Its ok. Dont worry."

"But i dont remember anything Simon!" Mom said.

"I Know, thats how i want it." Dad's eyes darkened as he said that.

I pulled myself up and stumbled to a tree.

"A forest? Really?" i said exasperated.

"Well it would look odd landing on a motorway." mom explained.

"Where exactly are we?" I asked.

"Earth." dad said.

"Figures. Its all...green." I giggled, stroking a tree.

"Mhmm." London said leading the way out the forest.

"Do you know where were going?"

"Nope." HE replied.

"Oh..can i come? Mom and Dad need a...moment." I said turning back to see moms eyes distant as she stared at the forest.

"That was the idea." He chuckled.

 "Oh." I smiled following my twin.

"Simon...dont let them-"

"Its fine, i wouldnt bring you here otherwise." I heard dad soothe her.

I stumbled through the trees after London as he skipped over branches.

"London! Wait!" We were now quite far into the forest and the leaves were darkening.

Suddenly he froze.

"Can you smell that?" He asked worriedly.

His back still to me.

I sniffed the air gently.

Whoa!

What a stench!

"Uh.." I groaned covering my nose.

"What is that?" I asked.

"I dont know, but whatever it is, i dont like it." London said.

"London?" I asked as he began walking again.

"Where are you going!? Its stronger over there! The smell!" I called, stumbling after him, my cold heart beating fast.

"I know." He stated, speeding up.

"London!" I cried.

"Dont stop!" He called back as he raced through the trees.

"What?" I asked, stopping.

"Lenah! Behind you!"

Huh?

I turned just in time to see a large brown wolf charging at me.

I screamed.

"RUN!" London cried, lifting me and throwing me out the way as the wolf landed, growling, baring its teeth.

"Not with out you!" I cried running back to him. 

"Lenah!" He called, moving from his fighting stance to grab my hand before flinging me over him and grabbing my hand as we fled through the trees.

"Run!" He called, as we pelted it through the trees, jumping over logs away from the wolf.

"Oh my god! What is that thing!? Is that a normal wolf!?"

"No, a werewolf!" London shouted.

 Werewolf?!

My brain went into over drive with all the myths and ledgends.

'Oh Goddess!'

Oh..brain talking.

'Oh great. I have to share every thought with you now.' London said in my head sarcastically as i began to hyperventilate, flying over the branches.

'We could use it to our advantage?' I suggested.

'Good idea. Left! now!' London yelled and in sync, we both moved left as the wolf..werewolf, to think that was a person...bounded after us.

We suddenly burst out onto a main road.

"Stop!" I cried, as trafffic zoomed past.

I turned to face where the wolf had been coming, but it just stood motionless, staring into my eyes.

And that is when i felt something rip and snap, and something else lock and hold.
