On the way home from the ultrasound, Killian and Emma stopped at Granny's to have some lunch. Emma had taken the whole day off at work, therefore Killian was also off. When they went in, Ruby beamed as she ran up and hugged Emma. "My favorite married couple!" she squealed, "And I didn't' want to say anything yesterday, because yesterday was all about you, and how gorgeous you looked in that dress, but your baby bump is getting bigger and I think it's adorable!" Ruby put a hand on either side of Emma's still small pudge where her baby was.

"Would you like to be the first one to know the sex of the baby?" Emma asked, raising her eyebrows. She knew Ruby couldn't refuse something like this. She shook her head yes, very excitedly. "Well, Killian and I are having a girl," Emma said. Killian put one arm around her shoulder and the other arm, the one with the hand and not the hook, wrapped around Emma to put a hand on her stomach. He was beaming with pride. "I couldn't be more excited," he said.

Ruby clapped her hands and squealed, loudly at first and then quietly when Emma put a finger to her lips. "Some people would be offended if they knew you knew before them," she said, pointing to a booth in the back where David and Mary Margaret were sitting. Killian and Emma snuck up on them and slid into the booth, girls on one side and guys on the other. A surprised Mary Margaret laughed before wrapping Emma in a hug. "So if I'm not at the station, Hook's not at the station, and you're not at the station, someone could get away with murder right?" she asked David teasingly. "I guess so," he said, "but we would barely notice. Especially with those smiles on your faces." "Yeah, what's going on?" Mary Margaret asked.

Emma smiled, then looked at Hook, indicating that it was his turn to share the good news. "Emma and I just went to visit Dr. Whale, and he used a very complicated machine and some nasty gooey stuff to see inside Emma's stomach, then informed us that we're going to have a daughter," he said, smiling the whole time. He was such a softy, Emma realized with a smile.

Mary Margaret's smile stretched all across her face as she put a hand to Emma's stomach and congratulated them. "That's amazing!" She told her. Emma couldn't help but wonder if the two could bond even more over doing the things that Mary Margaret and David never got to do with her with Emma's daughter. She hoped so.

David and Mary Margaret had already finished eating, and David really did need to get back to the station, so they left shortly after that. Emma and Killian just stayed in their booth for lunch. Right after they ordered, Rumplestilskin walked in. Killian shot up out of his seat to go stand in front of Emma. Rumplestilskin waved a hand at him, "I'm not here to hurt anyone Dearie. I eat lunch like everybody else," he said. "That doesn't mean I'm going to relax. Trusting you has never fared well for me," Killian responded. "Fine. Stand there until I leave if you want, but I promise I'm not in the mood to hurt or even threaten today," The Crocodile told him. "Sit down Killian. He's telling the truth," Emma said.

That was someone he did trust, so Killian reluctantly sat down. Rumplestilskin ordered just as Emma and Killian's food was coming out of the kitchen. If he had been wanting to hurt either of them, that would have been the opportune moment. However, after thoroughly enjoying both of their meals, they both felt fine. He had kept his word and not hurt them or poisoned their food or anything like that. That still didn't mean either of them trusted the old Crocodile, but they were thankful that he had let the chance to hurt them pass by.

They had nothing else to do for the rest of the day, so they just went home and lay on the couch watching movies. A few hours later, Emma ordered a pizza and then they decided to crash early. It had been a nice, lazy day. Their first full day as a married couple had been what Emma considered very successful.

In her dream, Emma was the Dark One again. She was with Zelena, but they were in Emma's house. Zelena was sitting at the table, eating onion rings. Onion rings Emma just made for her, with a special spell on them to accelerate her pregnancy. Somewhere in the back of her mind, Emma knew this was a memory, not a dream, but this was one of those times where thoughts like that were irrelevant. She smiled as she watched Zelena eat every one of the onion rings, completely oblivious to the spell starting to react in her body already.

Emma woke up when a sharp pain ripped through her stomach. She gasped, trying to keep quiet. If this wasn't a big deal, she didn't want to wake Killian up. When a second pain came over her, she couldn't help but cry out. Killian woke up this time. "Emma! What's wrong?" She was in so much pain she couldn't focus enough to know what was wrong. "I don't know," she gritted out.

Killian's eyes were anxiously searching to see if anything was visibly wrong, and that's when he saw that her stomach had grown considerably larger since they went to bed. "Emma," he said, "Look at your stomach." She gasped as she realized what was happening. Her dream had been a memory, and she was only remembering it because it was happening to her. Rumplestilskin had conveniently been there when their food came out of the kitchen, and he had cursed Emma's food. She was going into labor.
