Chapter One

One

Audrey's P.O.V [Point Of View]

It was past midnight when I walked out of the house as I closed the door gently behind me so my drunken dad won't wake up. I start running towards the park where I would see the guy of my dreams waiting for me. We've been dating for 6 years now but our love's forbidden. Well not because there's somebody else, it's just that my dad dislikes him cause he ain't rich but so are we. My dad's a gold-digger ever since I was just a toddler that's why my mom left him. My mom should've taken me with her but my dad had forbid her. She had no choice but to leave me with him. My dad's life became so messed up I don't even know how I became a part of his life. The last thing I remember was that I started to get abused by my own dad whenever he's drunk or pissed. I shake the thought off of my head as I reached the park.

I started looking around until somebody's hands covered my eyes and automatically I knew who it was."Ethan?"A smile grew on my face every time I say his name. He brushed his lips against the skin of my neck making a short sensation course through me. He uncovered my eyes and turns me to face him, crashing his soft luscious lips on mine. I smiled through the simple yet passionate kiss we were having. He slowly pulled away as he cups my face with his hands, his soft touch sending chills down my spine making me blush. "I missed you Auds..."He whispers as he starts to caress my left cheek with the pad of his thumb. I put my hand on top of his as I moved my face, my lips making contact with his palm as I pressed my lips on it."I missed you too Ethan..." I replied as I watch a small yet heart-warming smile grow on his face under the moonlight shining over us. "I didn't get to see you at school a while ago, where did you go?"I asked him as I watched his expression changed.

"I got into a fight with Mark while I was at football practice and well we were sent into detention."He says while he brings his hand on the back of his head as he starts to lightly scratch it. "Why? What happened anyway?""He thought I was flirting with his girl..."He says looking away, not wanting to look me in the eyes. "Are you?"I asked as I felt my voice cracking in pain and jealousy. He shakes his head and looks at me, finally meeting my gaze with his, "of course not, Audrey. I love you and you know that. I wouldn't dare to cheat on you because you're my dream girl." He flashes his most famous smile which made my heart to skip a beat. "I believe you" I said before wrapping my arms around his torso.

I slowly opened my eyes just to hear my alarm clock ringing making me feel a bit queasy but I quickly recovered as I brought my hand towards the button of the alarm clock as I pressed it so it would stop. I lazily hop off of my bed and start heading towards the bathroom with my hair all messed up. I started to brush my teeth twice then wash my face before taking a shower. After taking a shower, I head out of the bathroom and to my closet, pulling out a white tee with gold stripes on it. I also pulled out some black tights and a white converse to go with. After getting dressed, I walked up to my dresser and puts on some light make up so it would look natural.

I put on some strawberry flavored lip gloss 'because that's Ethan's favorite flavor and I want to tease him. I smirked to myself as I grab my book bag and start heading down the stairs when I saw my dad staring coldly making me scared a bit, wondering what would happen. "Good morning dad." I replied as a fake smile grows on my face. He grabs my arm tightly as he pulled me close to him roughly making me flinch. "Why are you still here? School starts at 8 and last time I checked its past 7." He growled making me back up a bit. "My first period starts with study h-hall." I replied as he lets go of my arm. "Good now go, I don't wanna see your ugly face in this house!" He screeched before pushing me out of the door, slamming it behind me. I wanted to cry but I tried to hold it back cause crying won't help me go through this day.

I start walking to school when I noticed a black Chevy truck parks over to curb making me stop and stare at it. It was Ethan's, I knew it. I looked at him inside the car smirking at me as he leans towards the passenger door, pushing it open so I could get it. I flashed him a sweet smile as I step in his truck. I closed the door beside me as I felt his hand grabbing mines, pressing his soft lips against the top of my hand. "Good morning my love."He said charmingly. I smiled at him before replying," Good morning to you too."I giggled as he starts to drive again. As soon as we reached the parking lot of the school, Lexie, my best friend since pre-school, started knocking on the window by me. I smiled as Ethan parked the car by the gates of the school.

I stepped out of the car before getting pulled by a tight hug from Lexie. "Good morning to you to Lex." I replied playfully as she pulled away from the hug. "You cannot believe what I just heard!"She said before linking arms with me, dragging me in school with Ethan following behind us. "What did you heard Alexi Campbell?" I asked as I turned my head towards Ethan who was holding back his laughter. I rolled my eyes as I turned back to Lexie." I heard Ross Carter will be in the contest I'm joining and btw he's one of the judges, isn't that great?!" She announced excitedly, hoping that I would be excited as she is but sorry to disappoint her but I was never a fan of Ross. Sure he's rich, he's hot, he got everything wrapped around his finger but not me because I got Ethan and he's all I want.

"Yay...good for you!" I replied, putting some excitement in my tone so Lexie wouldn't notice, don't wanna ruin her mood. We started walking towards my locker when Lexie gasps. I looked at her, her eyes widening as she produces a toe-curling scream that can crash my eardrums any second. I followed her gaze just to see Ross Carter, yes Ross Carter, walking out of the admin's office wearing some white tee with a black leathered jacket covering the half of it.

Girls started running towards him, leaving no space for him to go through. Lexie, of course, quickly let loose of my arm as she runs towards Ross, trying to squish in through the wave of girls craving to touch him. I rolled my eyes as I felt someone's arm wrapping on my waist. I smiled to see it was Ethan's. I wrapped my arms around his torso as we started to walk past the 'Ross Crowd', not wanting to be in any part of it.

Ross' P.O.V

I started walking out of the administrator's office, finally out of the uncomfortable talk with Mrs. Wilsons which by the way was so disgusting. She was unbuttoning her blouse slowly, wanting me to see her cleavage which freaked me out. The only reason why I came to this hell hole was to announce that the dance contest will be held tomorrow and I want her to announce that to her school. My thoughts got interrupted by a loud shriek coming from across the hall making me jump a bit.

I looked at the direction where the freaking scream came when I saw a bunch of girls running towards me. My eyes widen, ready to run away but sadly it's too late, I was ambushed. Once I got away from those crazy girls in this school, bodyguards started to block them away from me, making me sigh in relief. I start heading out of the school when I saw a beautiful girl giggling and smiling like an angel descended from heaven making my heart skip a beat but then when I turned to see who she was smiling at, it was a guy making me clench my fist in jealousy.
