My name is Miloš, so you can call me that.
Where are you from?
I am from Belgrade, Serbia.
What is your favorite hobby (besides writing)?
I like to cook. I'm pretty good at it, too. I also make greetings cards and suchlike.
Coffee or tea?
Coffee. Though I've been known to partake in both.
Interesting Fact?
About me? My day job is lawyering for the Serbian public TV. That interesting enough?
What book(s) are you reading now?
I am currently halfway through Chris Beckett's Dark Eden. I don't quite know what to make of it yet.
Who are your favorite Wattpad authors?
In no particular order, I like @SomewhatDistracted, @pink_dandelion, @Lady_Lucia and @Maya_2011. There surely are a good few people more, they just don't spring to mind right now.
When and why did you start writing?
When I was a teenager, I started writing lyrics for this band I was in. It was horrible. Funny thing, though, my first paid writing job was also as a lyricist for a friend of mine who is a producer.
Is there a specific genre that you like to read/write?
I don't think I suffer from genre bias. I like mainstream literature as well as various much pooh-pooed genres.
What or who inspires you in your work?
My work is inspired in part by my everyday experiences with work, family, and friends, and in part by what I've read. I find it's not about getting an idea, but picking a good one out of the brainwave clutter.
Can you tell us a bit about your current story and why people would want to read it?
Currently I'm engaged with a little noir parody novelette called The Errant Heiress. It's about a lady detective who is approached by one half of a star-crossed couple in order to help them skip town and get married. I try to make it short and sweet and consistently funny and engaging throughout.
Is there a message for your readers in your work?
No, there is no one all-encompassing message in all my works (I mostly write short stories), but I do try to make all my stories about something - something other than what is literally in the text. I try to make a point.
Do you have any advice for other writers?
I'm not particularly successful as a writer, so I best keep what advice I might have to myself.
