NIERA'S POV

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Some events can't be understood; they are either enjoyed or cried over but some, they just open a new phase of life.

Well this one was one of those crucial bemusing event in my life.

The deal is sealed...

Sealed...!

As the words came out of my mouth, a sudden wave of energy rushed through my body which made me breathless. It was different from any time; it feels like I took the right decision, it felt right when the words came from my mouth.

I don't know what I did was right or not but now I know whatever will be the result; I won't back out at any cost.

Around me, the different pairs of eyes showed different expressions.

Mr. Gerard seems to have a proud appreciative expression on his eyes and gave me a nod. Jerry was looking happy hearing this and gave me a small smile. But the look on Mr. Valentine's face was of trumpet showing he has succeeded achieving something very precious.

Weird!

"I'm glad you accepted the proposal. But before you start with your working, I want to make some conditions very clear." He stated looking at me with his intense gaze boring in mine.

I shivered hearing his voice, like a bucket of cold water is thrown on me. His lips curved into a slow, heart-stopping smirk when he perceived me.

Conditions?

The freshly drenched mind of mine went on puzzled stance hearing his words.

"Please have a sit so that we can discuss this." He gestured me to sit.

I blinked once before complying.

While sitting on one of the Aeron chairs, I wandered my eyes around to have quick look to the cabin.

This cabin is quite bigger than of Jerry's with all the elegant furniture and designing but not as big and luxurious as the one I woke up in last night. Again a huge beautiful 'A V' was ingrained proudly on the wall behind the desk.

I gave a quick brief glance at the Symbol before shifting my gaze back at the company I have around.

Mr. Valentine was comfortably sitting on the couch with his jacket was hung on a chrome coat rack. Mr. Gerard was sitting on other couch with Jerry standing on his side in attention with hands folded on his back and head low.

I perceive they were discussing something as there was a heap of different labeled files scattered on the center table.

"Child, please have a seat here. We have found some clues which would help you in your search, Jerry you sit here with me." Mr. Gerard said while beckoned me to the couch on which Mr. Valentine was sitting, making me nervous at the same time excited but I had no choice as Jerry already jumped to sit with Mr. Gerard.
