The next day.

My eyes were incredibly puffy the next morning.

If shades were allowed in the campus, I would have started wearing it.

This has always been my problem... when I cry, it is very obvious.  My eyebags swell up.

Sigh.

I entered the room with my head bow down so that no one else will notice.

“What happened to your eyes?” Matt said in a loud voice.

God.

Almost all of my classmates glanced at me.

I did not say anything as I walked over to my seat and sat down.

I noticed Geoffrey hasn’t arrived yet.

Kill me now.

Shiela walked over to me and tapped my shoulders.

“I can’t believe you also cried...” she said sympathetically.

I looked up at her in confusion.

“Well, you did the right thing... I think he actually learned from you.” Shiela pointed out.

“What are you talking about?” Aaron interrupted.

“Anna told me that Julie broke up with Geoffrey last night...” Shiela responded.

“She what?!” Aaron screamed in shock.

I could hear my other classmates gasp at the news.

“Hey, that’s life... and besides, they’re like two ends of a spectrum... polar opposites.  I’m just relieved Geoffrey is not the one to break up first this time.  Finally! He needed that blow to his ego.” Shiela remarked.

I really appreciated the fact that Shiela is not mad at me for breaking up with her cousin...

... but I sincerely wish she would just shut up.

... My head is aching so bad.

“So why are you the one crying here, Julie?” Aaron asked aloud.

“........................”

“Are you trying to invoke pity again this time?” he asked again.

“It wasn’t my intention.” I whispered.

“God, you always say that!  Seriously...” Aaron said sarcastically.

“.............................”

“Do you think boys have no emotion?  You can’t go around screwing with us just because you can!” Aaron said in a loud voice.

Silence.

“That’s enough..” Jason spoke up.

“Why?! Someone has got to tell her these things!  She’s becoming so arrogant!” Aaron hissed.

“Stop it, Aaron...” Ivan reprimanded.

“I’m seriously f*cking done with trying to understand her!” Aaron complained.

Seriously, I want to cry right now.

Does he seriously think it was so easy for me to make that decision?

It wasn’t... and he’s right.

... but I already know these things...

... so I just wish everyone would shut up.
